Is there a work where you’d like the story of the MC and ML close friends or supporting characters to be told more?

Yes defitinely if the character catches my attention, I would to learn more about their backstory and just them in general! Though I think if the character is not really the type that I would love to know more, it would be a little bit annoying to read about them and just skip their part.

Yes! Sometimes you want to have them as an LI even lol, especially if their design or seiyuu is worthy of being one.

Well, if they're famous enough, they might get their own route in the fandisc, but the others aren't that lucky. Mostly, they just serve as support and never get any spotlight.

There are some characters I wouldn't necessarily want as love interests in the main story, but wish they'd get some more spotlight and development... Like, maybe not to the point where the side characters become more important than the main characters, but enough to flesh them out in a way that really benefits the story. I really like when they give you a different perspective or take on things. Villain characters are the ones who tend to get more structured and developed backgrounds, and if they're your type, you usually end up either being happy with what you got or wishing they were a love interest instead

yess, i have a few in mind actually, where they could have been an extra LI route, but ill just say senhime (hakuoki) - obviously not intended as a LI TT
just based on her premise and position, she has way more potential than the amount of screen time she gets. she would have been perfect for a political/social-focused side story.
and she has a really fun personality contrast. she's confident and composed, there's enough personality tbere that i would have liked to see what she's actually like when she isn't interacting with chizuru or the men around her.

as a LI, i agree with many others who say that bustafellows absolutely FUMBLED by not giving Adam his own route. there was so much potential there...(ᗒᗣᗕ)

YES especially if they are good looking lol if they are lucky they get fan disc but not always :((
