Hi everyone!
I like listening to free talk tracks when I'm not really in the mood for the main story!
For R18 works, I often don't feel like listening when I'm out in public.

Of course, after buying a CD, I listen to the free talk after finishing the main story, but don't you ever come across a free talk that you end up listening to over and over again? 😂

If there are any free talk tracks that you find yourself listening to repeatedly, I'd love to hear your recommendations, regardless of the voice actor! 🫶🏻

Also, when a CD includes a free talk track, when do you usually listen to it? (Right after finishing the main story, before listening to the main story, etc.!)

I'd love to hear your recommendations!

I always listen to the story first and then the free talk.
And yes! I enjoy the free talk as well! Some of them are really interesting.

The one that immediately comes to mind is this one -->RJ01215820,
Both Yagami and Mitsuhashi are reminiscing about their childhood. Isn't that adorable:love:

I also enjoy listening to free talk tracks.
It's quite fun to hear things like reviews of works or tmi about the VA.

As for a voice actor recommendation, I've been listening to Rokujo Gin's free talk a lot lately.
he answers at length and with sincerity in every free talk. It's entertaining lol

His are quite entertaining goes he's so earnest and goes in depth and he'll say he's talking too much.

Separately, I don't remember the title but 主水Ash reads a menu and that made me laugh 😂

I love listening to the free talks too!

But they can contain spoilers, so I always make sure to listen to the main story first before listening to the free talk. ☺️

I can't remember the title of the one I'm thinking of (I'll come back and post it if I remember!), but what really stuck with me was how openly the voice actor talked about his own family background. I was honestly surprised! 😳

Since he was talking about his siblings, I think it was probably a story involving a brother and sister.

I also really like free talks where two voice actors are chatting together! The atmosphere is different from when one person is talking by themselves, and they seem to be having fun, which makes it really enjoyable to listen to. 😊

I usually listen to the free talk track right after finishing the main story. I also love how each voice actor has their own unique style when it comes to free talk—it really shows their personality!

Sometimes, there are works where the voice actor stays in character and talks in the character's voice even during the free talk, and that honestly gives me chills. 😂

I love all the voice actors I listen to, so I have quite a few favorites, but I especially like Mitsuhashi Wataru's free talks because he goes into detail about how he approached and developed the character. It really gives me a lot to think about and makes analyzing the character even more fun.

And another reason I like his free talks is that the way he speaks is just so gentle that I can't help thinking, "This guy must be such a nice person." 😂

True. Sometimes I listen to the story again just because the VA mentioned how they put extra effort into particular scenes.

Like in the story "義兄の鎖" (RJ01017948); Yagami commented that it was the very first time he shed tears during the recording. So, I replayed the track just to feel that desperate moment...

I'm glad to know someone else feels the same way!

I actually own that one, but I haven't listened to it yet, so now I'm even more curious to hear it. I'll definitely keep your recommendation in mind! ❤️

Thank you for the recommendation!
I really want to hear them talking about their childhood memories! That sounds absolutely adorable! I'm definitely going to buy it and give it a listen 😭🫶🏻

I think all of Rokujo Gin's free talks are so cute! I love them too.
He talks about working out quite a lot, so I always find myself thinking about how disciplined he is!

Also, maybe because there are a lot of senpai among the VAs who debuted around the same time or earlier, but whenever he's doing a free talk with a senpai, his kouhai side really comes out, and I absolutely love it lol

I feel like Rokujo Gin says "Did I talk too much?" pretty often lol
You can really tell that he cares about both his works and his listeners. He seems like such a genuinely nice person.

Wait, now I really want to hear that free talk where he reads a menu LMAO
I absolutely love Mondo Ash too because he's way too serious about R18 works 🤣

I feel like some voice actors actually tell us quite a bit about their siblings! And sometimes even where they're from!
I always find myself listening while thinking, "Are they really okay with telling us this much?! 😳💓"

I totally get that! I love free talks where two voice actors are chatting together too 😍
It's so nice getting to learn more about their relationship with each other!

I often find myself thinking, "So in the end, I always come back to Mitsuhashi Wataru…"
I totally get what you mean about how much you can tell he's such a nice person. I love him too 🥺

The first voice actor who comes to mind for me when it comes to staying in character during the free talk is Feather Tatsu!
It feels like his own thoughts and the character's thoughts get mixed together, and I can't help but smile while listening ☺️

Wow, thank you so much for such a wonderful recommendation.
I definitely want to listen to it in the order of main story → free talk → main story.

I wonder if voice actors who don't just get immersed in the role, but really internalize the character themselves, make it easier for us to get emotionally invested in the character too.
It's really cool, and as a listener, it just makes me feel so grateful to know that they put that much thought and effort into their performances…😢

Feather Tatsu's free talks are great too, aren't they? ♡

I don't know why, but after listening to the main story, hearing the voice actor talk in their own voice makes me grin like an idiot every time. 🫶

Nikaisen's free talks are so cute because you really get to see his playful side!

He's mentioned before that people often see him as an outgoing, sociable person, but he describes himself as a "fake extrovert." Whenever I listen to his free talks, though, I'm always thinking, "He's really not like that at all!" 😂

And Mitsuhashi talks about the performances in such a serious tone, so the contrast is just too much. I almost feel bad for laughing, but I can't help it lol.

I know exactly what you mean! I listen to them while grinning like crazy too 😂

I especially love those moments in free talks when you can hear the difference between the character's voice and the voice actor's natural voice. And on the other hand, when they say something like, "I played the character with a voice close to my natural voice," it gives me this little flutter of excitement. Those are feelings you can only really get from the free talks, which is why I absolutely love listening to them 🥰

I totally get you! ❤️

I've actually heard voice actors mention in their free talks that some people listen to the free talk before the main story. I'm definitely the type who listens to the story first and then the free talk, so I was like, "Wait, people actually do that?!" 😂

And when a voice actor says something like, "I put a lot of myself into this character," doesn't it make you want to know more about them too? I definitely get curious about them as a person!
