Hello! Which other vns would you say STEAL! is similar to? I'm looking to expand my areas of interest

I can't think of any other VNs I've played that are similar to this so I can't make a good comparison...it's very character centric and the charm of STEAL is all the fun group interactions and character dynamics mixed with some action.

If I had to make a comparison I dare say it's a bit like persona 5, bc of the phantom thieves/undercover theming and also a tight-knit cast who are good friends with one another.

I'm really curious about hanamachi, especially because I was dying to know what was going on between shuri and tatsumi when I was playing hanakage 😭

It's sad to say, but you're right, Karin won't be making any more BL games. In my group, we bought a game from dlsite to support the company and download a DLL that we couldn't get. The code doesn't work because the game's page is deleted, or rather discarded by the developer :eek:. So, if you want to buy a BL game from Karin, don't make anymore.. You won't get any support or anything. Even so, it was nice while it lasted... Three BL games that were great in their time, and thanks to efforts of the master @Beannie. We can see the deleted sites of omerta . I also encourage all to buy the omerta or omega vampire CDs from Surugaya before they become lost media. I'll try to get more with my next payments, so that's all I can tell to all. Also, comment on x so they stop just making merch like me and make a game once and for all.

Phew, I'm finally destressed...Sayonara :ninja:

hanamachi is actually pretty good, the downer is shuuri looking like a child 😭 but thats very common in old blvns but, i love the li's! esp sakuya he's probably the sweetest route ever, i recommend playing!!

oooh, I played P5R a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recommendation though

From some CGs that were apparently shown, looks like it! Though it seems like it's so early in the production / planning stage, with even the name being a working title. I honestly don't expect anything in the next few years lol

Some fantasy themed concept art featuring wings/tentacles etc and school uniforms were also shown at the end, some people believe it could be teasing a separate game (or they might just be AU). I've no idea if any of it is related to the rumored gacha they expressed interest in making (or if that's even a thing to begin with) or an actual new game (hopefully)

I genuinely thought that it'd been so long, and with them releasing Clean Dishes, that we were never going to get a Slow Damage fandisk. If that's indeed what it is, it could totally be something else too. But I'd really love to see a continuation of each of the endings like they did with DMMD.

As for the potential new game... I'm trying to not have any expectations until we hear more. I want to be excited for it, but if it ends up being that rumored gacha game I think my heart would break. Gacha just isnt my thing and I've wanted another full N+C game for ages. Well, whatever happens I'm interested to see how it shakes out.

I also hope that there could be a new original game or a proper Slow Damage fandisc. However, I'm afraid that Nitro+Chiral have just been inspired by the success of the gacha business model and are trying to recycle their old stuff by riding the gacha wave as well (similarly to Zerowake Gates employing all those manhwa characters). In the past, they made a mobile game called Itsuwari no Alkanet, but I've never heard much about it.

I've played Hanakage too ! I've really enjoyed Hijiri's route but I haven't liked the other 2 routes I've played. Still Hijiri made the game worth it to play for me.

So someone archived the sites?! That's great, I admit I didn't go very far looking for them, but now that I know I'll make sure to finally check them out.

Full version of CN BL game Dissolution of My Self will be out very soon!! It's a point and click mystery game (warning for uncle/nephew) and the main character is voiced by Irakusa Netoru (!!)

Some of the answers to the FAQ really amuse me lol

For non-VN with optional mlm content I can recc'd Dragon Age/Bioware, Fire Emblem 3 Houses, Rune Factory, Persona 5 with gay mods, and some older 3DS games have like BL mods for it too. Yes, I know a few are based on creating your own character, but it's still sadly not common to have gay male MC other than some supporting roles.

There are really few games featuring gay men, and there are even fewer high-quality games.

This is also my first ever BL, so I'll forever hold it dear inside my heart. My favourite route is Noiz and Clear; I love all routes, but these two just make me tear up no matter how many times I replay it.
