physical manga or online manga?

I prefer reading physical but there's the dilemma of wanting to keep the volumes pristine so I just stick to reading online. And also sticking to physical manga will eventually hurt me bc I can't exactly keep them in good condition forever.

I read it online and if i like the story, i tend to buy it physically for my collection.

Physical manga takes up too much space, collects dust, fades over time, and heavy collections are a pain to move around. I prefer it digitally because it's hassle-free. The availability and delivery speed of digital versions also simply can't compare to physical copies.

online manga are convenient to read anytime,I've only collected a few of my favorite physical manga

Online is so much easier and can scroll in bed lol, I do like physicals of stuff but it costs so much more/takes up a lot of space.

Definitely online manga. As much as I still love having physical books, physical manga (especially shoujosei) of my favorites are usually inaccessible outside Japan since they aren't popular enough 😔

I prefer online because of its convenience and I don't have to worry about losing or ruining it. If physical, I'd be worried about ruining it or something so I'd probably just leave it on display and never read them lol  But I can definitely see the appeal of physical manga since you can display them, and the joy and feeling of reading them in your own hands is just different.

Honestly with the invention of the e-reader, I enjoy reading them digitally so much now. It's awesome to have all the books you could possibly want inside a tiny device.

I like both, but if there's a series I really love, I'll usually buy the physical volumes to keep in my collection.

For actually reading, though, I tend to read online most of the time because it's simply more convenient. I can read whenever and wherever I want without having to carry a stack of books around.

That said, I still don't think the experience is quite the same. There's something different about holding a physical manga, turning the pages, and actually seeing the collection sitting on your shelf. So for me, online is for convenience, while physical copies are for the stories I really love and want to keep.

It depends! I prefer online manga as a way of introducing me to different series. I only get physical copies of my favorite series and even then I don't get many copies since I don't have room to put all of it anyways.

Soft copy because I can't wait for physical, I want to be updated to the latest chapter. I just cant handle cliffhangers so I usually am updated even with the raws.

I mostly read digital these days, but if I really love a series I will buy the physical after (in the prettiest edition I can find)

I like the enjoyment of flipping through physical books, but I've gotten used to the convenience of reading online. Since I started reading online, I like that I can enjoy more works.

Nothing beats the feeling of holding a physical book. But since I don't have a lot of space to store it, I need to settle with digital ones, for convenience

I like to have physical copies of everything i own but my space is limited so Digital has been my preference out of necessity, though if I have to buy digital from a seller I only do so if I can either download the files or remove DRM, I heavily dislike in-app readers. If they are tying my access to something I paid for to the time their own servers stay up they should charge me a viewing fee, not an owning fee.

Unfortunately I'm always reading online these days for convenience which is such a shame because I really do love the feeling of having my own physical copy but just like a lot of people said here, I really don't have the space nor the budget. I will only buy physical if it's something I really love which doesn't happen often.

Depends on the story. When it's the series I like, I would like to buy the physical too even though I've read before. But mostly online!
