Do you prefer younger Lls, older LIs, or characters around the MC's age?

I prefer LIs that are around the same age as the MC (max 5 years older or younger). The story and their relationship then feels more natural and believable to me.

My thoughts exactly, but if romance is good written I can handle anything personally. Though yeah, that's usually what I'm after in otomes or drama cds
 
I might lean toward LIs around the same age as the MC, but I think what really makes me comfortable is being at a similar level of maturity. I don't want to feel like I have to babysit someone who's young and not as mature yet, but I also don't want to feel inadequate or dumb just because I'm younger and there are things I know less about.
 
I would say a few years older are the ones I most consistently like! However, sometimes they are just doing a super cute job and then 1-2 years younger can be very adorable or be a nice set up for some funny moments!
 
That's is one tough question😔 depends if the age gap between the MC and the LI is too wide it's a bit iffy for me
 
I prefer LI's around the MC's age or older >_< But by older age, I don't mean old look,I mean edward from twilight kinda old haha
 
I don't care if they're younger or older than the protagonist; I don't have a preference for that. The only thing I couldn't play with is if they look like old people or in the morgue. I wouldn't go to those extremes, but I'd say I wouldn't care so much about age (they can be up to 900+ years old) as long as they look similar in age to the protagonist or older without looking elderly. In the case of younger characters, yes, but it depends on the protagonist's age. For example, if she's 30 and one of her interests is 20, it's acceptable despite the 10-year age difference; both her age and his age matter.

Honestly, I don't really stick to one age type, it depends more on the character himself. But if I had to pick, I'd say I lean toward older LIs. There's just something about a reliable, slightly more mature guy that gets me every time. Like, if he's the type who's got his life together and quietly looks out for the MC, I'm sold~~
 
ever since playing BYAKKO i think i lean towards younger or around the MCs age? i am fine with anything, even older LI is fine too but if the gaps is around 20-30+ i think it's a bit of..weird? unless the story is fully fleshed and good then there's more reason to it.

I like someone around the same age as the protagonist.
Someone older or younger by more than 10 years, that's a bit...🤔
 
I definitely prefer older LIs! There's something unmatched about the emotional depth, calm composure, and slight melancholy that an older, more mature man brings to the table. Plus, that dynamic usually pairs best with a deep, soothing voice acting performance.
