How do you sit/lie down when playing otome games? I'm curious what other people's playing set-up is like.

i usually lay down or sit around with my switch either handheld or on the tv. i do have some pillows to lay back on as well. since my "pc" is just my laptop its the same situation for me but with the added position of sitting at my desk. if i get tired of sitting in my chair at my desk i do switch over to my bed to get more comfy tho

I usually lay down on my side with a laptop on a chair next to my bed and leave the mouseclicking to an autoclicking script. Don't ask me how many times I have fallen asleep like that

I'm also thinking about buying something like this for sitting on a bed or lying on the stomach, it looks comfy.

When I play otome games, I try to make sure I won't be disturbed as much as possible. If I'm playing on my Switch, I'm usually lying on my bed with my earbuds in so I can focus on the voice acting and the background music. Especially during emotional moments or confession scenes, it's much easier to get immersed in the story without any background noise getting in. (Haha.) When I play on PC, I sit at my desk in a chair, and seeing the event CGs on a bigger screen gives them a whole different level of impact. It's a different kind of fun.

I often play games while sitting down.
I tend to lean forward, though, so my neck gets tired...

It kinda depends, On pc I would sit on a chair to maintain my posture and when I'm using switch I would just lay down lol

I usually play otome games while lying on my bed or reclining on the couch. Since most otome games involve a lot of reading, I like to get as comfortable as possible. If I'm playing on my phone or handheld, I'll often curl up with a pillow and a blanket. If it's on my PC, I sit in my desk chair, but I still try to lean back and relax. Sometimes I'll even play with headphones on to fully immerse myself in the story and voice acting.

I fear I sit like a goblin at my desk... I like to either have my legs tucked criss-cross or with my feet on my chair so my knees are almost touching my chest. I just know that if I do any sort of reclined/laying down position while playing games I will absolutely fall asleep.
Goblins unite! I'm a big fan of this pose as demonstrated by Futaba from P5. I have terrible posture but it's comfy in the moment.

When playing on PC, I get into the pose of a shrimp and then wonder why my back hurts so much, lol. As for playing on Switch, I usually lay down on my stomach.

I used to play while lying down, but my shoulders would start hurting, making it impossible to play for long periods.
Now, I mostly play while sitting up with a cushion supporting my back. However, I often get so engrossed in the game that I lean forward, frequently causing pain in my shoulders and back

When I'm lying down, I play my Nintendo Switch flat on my back, facing upward and holding the console up in the air; I do this because I wear glasses, and playing on my side usually gets in the way, both because of the glasses and because the Switch is big and kind of heavy XD. Another way I play is by lying on my back, placing a pillow on my chest, setting the Switch on top of it, and using the kickstand to keep it upright. It works really well that way, and if my hands start to hurt from holding the Joy-Cons in the same position, I can just detach the controllers. The perks of being flat-chested, muahaha! Another method is playing while sitting up, with one pillow supporting my back and another on my lap to rest my elbows on!

I usually just lie in bed with a pillow or two propped up behind my back, holding my Switch right in front of me. But after a while, when my neck starts getting a bit tired, I'll just flip over and play lying on my stomach.

When playing while lying down, I usually prefer to lie on my side. I know it's not great for my eyes, but I just can't seem to break the habit—especially after having the device drop on my face a few times while lying flat on my back; that really hurts. 🥲
When playing at the computer, I usually pull my legs up onto the chair; resting my left hand directly on my knees like that makes me feel really secure.

While playing my switch lite I was just thinking I wish I had a little remote, because I keep making my arms/shoulders sore with the positions I play in, and when I searched I actually found this keychain-sized controller. Since my lite case has a stand anyway, this could potentially be a nice way to let my arms rest. Supposed to arrive tomorrow, so hopefully it works out and gives me more options for getting comfy!

And like others, I too sit like a goblin when playing games at my PC, which oddly enough is what makes it more comfortable to play on PC for me lol, hence my struggle to get comfortable elsewhere.

Nice to meet you. I really like doing it lying in bed, but I often get sleepy and fall asleep without realizing it.😌💤🌙

You can connect Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to Switch Lite if it's available to you.
That one would be the most comfortable one to use from what I've tried.

Hope you'll like the green one you're getting tomorrow! <3

I mostly stay at my desk, but the poses I catch myself in... 💀 Like how is my back even alive. I'm basically a shrimp fr 🦐

I usually play in handheld mode while lying down. I don't like holding the Switch for long, so I mount it on a tablet arm instead. I also prop myself up with a bunch of cushions to keep my neck and back from hurting, though I guess it's still a good idea to stretch and move around every now and then!

I sit down in front of my pc. I play music/yt video while playing otome game.
For some reason this makes me focus. W
When i'm sleepy thats when i go upstairs, lie down play sideways till i fall asleep.

It depends on the device I'm using. For example, I lie on the bed when playing on android with a strong pillow support near the elbow. Sometimes I may be lying on the safe. But for computer games, I just sit on the desk's chair though I get tired fast.

Playing while sitting is too tiring; I prefer playing while lying down. That's why I spend most of my time playing otome games on the Switch.
