In my case, the first otome game I played was Diabolik Lovers... DiABOLIK LOVERS!!! A game everyone knows well❤️‍🔥😂
Choosing this game as my first game was a huge challenge. My first impression was filled with a strange and amazing mix of feelings. From being unable to read much Japanese to being able to read it because of playing otome games, starting with this one.

Thank to you, SAKAMAKI SHU my first beloved 2D彼氏💤 Even after ten years, still haven't forgotten that enchanting voice.🤣

Otome games 's my inspiration to have shaped my future now. Even if my memory space 10+ TB is full, I can still afford to buy new HDD. Fangirls like us can do anything with the power of love💖 💕

Hope everyone has happy and heartful moments of life like good story in otome games we love!

The very first one I played was the Shall We Date series. But what really introduced me to the term Otome and made a strong impression on me was Amnesia Memories. Experiencing Toma's route when I first played it, without knowing what was coming next, and having Ukyo haunting me and making me sweat whenever I encountered him or had to make choices when he was around, was something unique XD

The first otome game I played was Roommates by Winter Wolves on my Nook HD! Basically a silly little college love story that made an impression on me cause I did like the characters and how they were written and of course I grew up on it but not the greatest otome game. I think the otome that really made me a fan was Mystic Messenger which I played on my phone in high school! I was OBSESSED with getting all the endings and especially when I would read the after story which really delved into the crazy lore. Since then, I've played a lot more otome games on my pc over the years, but those two are the ones that started it off for me!

MYSTIC MESSENGER, without a doubt. It was my first otome game back in 2016,so it pretty much became the standard I unconsciously compared every other game to. Real-time chats, calls, and the way it made you feel like you were literally part of the story were such a unique experience, it completely raised the bar for me. That's how I knew realist otome games are for me.

Ps: oh yeah! classic faceless brown haired MC and the opening--Goodness i wanna replay, and it really is famous for a reason

Seduce Me the Otome ✨ 10 years ago, when I was a kid, a Youtuber I watched made a video basically making fun of the game, but all I wanted was to know what would happen next so I ended up binging videos of people earnestly playing it and was obsessed.

For a while I was embarrassed that it was my first otome, but nowadays I look back on it fondly and the voice acting was pretty good! (at least for the main cast) Playing the 2nd game is still on my to-do list lol

Probably the shall we date games, but I never actually managed to finish them because of how money hungry the games were 😂 but Shall we Date: Ninja Love was my otome awakening... it was kinda steamy too 😋

Like you, the game I first came into contact with was DIABOLIK LOVERS. I gradually learned about otome games from anime. At first, I watched DIABOLIK LOVERS anime, and sometimes I accidentally came across related screen recordings of the game. I found that the characters and plot endings in the game and anime were different, so I gradually got to know otome games. And basically, many of the anime I have watched have corresponding otome games, such as Hakuoki, Meiji Tokyo Renka, Code Realize, and so on. These anime have game versions, and since then, I have been playing otome games. It can be said that otome games have become inseparable from my life, and I really like them, which makes me feel very happy haha.

I don't remember exactly, but it might have been Hakuoki or La Corda d'Oro...?

I first got into them through the anime, and then I played the games.

The first otome game I ever encountered was "Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi".
I came across it in an advertisement in a shōjo manga magazine I was reading at the time.
That sparked my interest in otome games, and I've been a fan ever since!

The first otome game I ever played was *Otome no Koi Revolution☆Love Revo!!*
I really enjoyed it because it included raising-sim elements. I was so young back then that I didn't even realize it was an otome game. haha.

It's too long since I played my first otome game - it was a simple festive-themed game by a doujin creator I found.

It was an interesting experience to play from the female protagonist's perspective even when I didn't manage to get the good ending with any of the guys 😂
