When do you usually listen to Otome CDs?

Mostly before bed or on lazy weekends. I don't usually listen while working because I end up paying more attention to the story than what I'm doing 😆

I like listening to drama cds either while doing the dishes (not all chores, just the dishes lol), when browsing on my computer or when I'm doing crafts! Drawing, sculpting, and the like ;) I've actually listened while reading books too, although I don't do it too often. I can follow both stories without much trouble, but my friends have called me weird for doing it, haha

I like to use them as study material when I'm focusing on my listening skills, but I don't do it nearly as much as I should. I never listen to anything before bed though, it makes me feel too alert ;b

I usually listen to them at night when I can relax. I also often listen before going to bed. Sometimes I'll put one on while I'm doing something else, but I either miss parts of the audio or get so absorbed in it that I stop what I'm doing.

I pretty much never listen to otome CDs during the day, whether they're R18 or not. To me, otome CDs are very much a nocturnal enjoyment -- when the sky/room is dark, all is quiet around me, and there are little to no distractions, it's much easier to "get in the mood" for a sexy story, haha. So yeah, I listen to them basically only before I sleep at night, and typically while lying in bed. I also don't listen to otome CDs AT ALL when I'm outside/commuting/on the go, because I reckon I'd get weirdly self-conscious about people "being able to hear" what I'm listening to, especially with a guy panting and moaning into my ears. 😅 Plus it'd also be kind of hard for me to concentrate on the audio when outdoors, with all the inevitable noise and activity around.

I'm honestly quite surprised that some of you actually listen to otome CDs while gaming or doing household chores. I know I could never -- I need to focus 100% on listening to the CD.

haha we're the same team. exactly like you describe. i prefer listening rated +situation cd at night before sleep. get a mood is a must while listening to them 😌.30 minute exactly coz i don't wanna my tinnitus getting worse😓

but for all ages usually i hear it with the speaker while doing the ironing. i need a boost for this activity 🌚

I usually listen to it before bed. So when I wake up in the morning, there are times when I don't remember anything except for the beginning, lol. Then I listen again from the beginning.

I mainly listen to them at night before i sleep too because i like winding down right before sleeping! But sometimes I do end up falling asleep halfway through and end up needing to listen to it again since I did not pay attention to the 2nd half of it😅

Mmmh i used to listen to them at EVERY MOMENT OF THE DAY like literally- i used to listen to R18 cd dramas in class while passing an exam or having class— or whenever i was going out cte..it was basically like music to me lol, but now I'm usually listening to them when I'm reading mangas, sleeping or just taking a nap. Since i started to actually invest myself into it..but i still listen to them in random places whenever i feel like i need to listen to something- but i think the ideal time is before sleeping or when ur in a mood that makes u comfortable!! Since listening to cd dramas in a busy or very loud place may not be comfortable ..(from experience whenever i do i always go back in the cd to listen to what i missed…so it's not really immersive )

That's so me— sometimes i restrict myself from listening to any cd dramas for a whole day and when it's time to sleep i start playing one and 10-30min later i fall asleep and when i wake up i regret sleeping through it cuz now i need to RELISTEN TO IT- and one time it happened to me to have to relisten to it 6 times in a row cuz i kept on falling asleep..(not even bc it was a boring one but just that whenever i was on my bed listening to it..idk my body was giving up and in sleep mode…)

There are a lot of people who listen to it before going to bed at night and have the problem of falling asleep 😂 I would like to ask someone who can finish listening to the drama CD until the end at night for tips! Is there anyone❓ Or is there no one❓lol

I'm not sure if I would call this tips lol, but I realised that if I am lying down completely on the bed, it makes it easier for me to fall asleep accidentally. So instead, I would lie a little more upright with my pillow supporting my back, and then if I start feeling even a tiny bit sleepy, I would sit upright like 90 degrees to get rid of my sleepiness haha
This kinda worked for me :ROFLMAO:

Thank you for your reply☺️

It's a power technique to wake up so that you don't lie down completely✨lol

I definitely want to hear this today! I'll try it on the day💪☺️

I almost always listen to them at night, before going to sleep. The problem, as many have mentioned, is that I often don't even get halfway through because I fall asleep, haha. Even so, it's the time I enjoy most because I can concentrate on the story. I'm not able to listen to them while doing other things, like cleaning or studying, since I feel like I miss too many details. If I fall asleep, I simply continue from where I left off the next day. 🎀

I often listen to voice dramas while I'm knitting. Since they don't require me to look at a screen, I can stay focused on my hands while listening, which feels very efficient. I also listen to them while cleaning, and if it's a relaxing or healing-type story, I sometimes fall asleep while listening.

I listen to drama cds every night before bed. This is my most relaxing time of the day, because no one disturbs me (I live with my family). The problem is that I always fall asleep while listening, so I end up forgetting half of what I heard. When I wake up, I try to recall what happened and replay the tracks that I don't remember.

I listen to it while cooking, before bed, and while I'm sleeping!
I also play it in the background when I'm playing games that don't require much concentration.
I used to play it while browsing the internet, but nothing was really sinking in, so I've stopped doing that.

I've always thought that if I could finish listening to one work before going to sleep, I could listen to more works, so I will continue to train💪😤lol

Seems like most people listen at night, same vibe here haha. :giggle: At the very beginning I needed translation tools to keep up with the story, so I only listened by day and loved all the whispery ear play scenes. I'd fall asleep super fast at night 'cause I couldn't catch the dialogue. After years of listening, I'm totally used to playing them before bed now. Listening in daylight just feels like Japanese practice to me lol

When I'm alone in my room , I can't let my family hear it :ROFLMAO: or it'd be so embarrassing. And I can't play it out loud on speakers either. Usually,Of course, wearing headphones still gives the best experience.I only listen to it when I have plenty of free time and complete privacy. Most of the time, it's at night or in the early morning hours.
