There are many otome games that are quite popular, but which games do you love that no one seems to talk about or even know about? What are some old and obscure titles you've fallen in love with? Would you recommend them or do you think they just landed for you personally?
These games don't get enough attention and I'd love to hear more about them! Who knows? Maybe someone will find a game they've never heard of before and becomes one of their new favorites.

Yes! There are many lesser known games with exquisite art styles and entertaining storylines. I remember a game I played a long time ago called ARMEN NOIR Portable. It was released on the PSP platform and had a beautiful art style. The character plot was also very exciting, with each male protagonist having his own very long storyline as a separate subplot. The plot was full of ups and downs, and after playing it, people felt a sense of satisfaction and happiness. Everyone in this game has their own characteristics, and I really like them all! The most impressive thing is Elle's route. I have repeated her route many times, and every time I play, it is still very exciting! My feeling about his route is that I feel very sorry for him! I personally think this game is a great masterpiece in my heart! Very worth playing~

Don't judge me but I loved Kings of Paradise by Voltage. Its a modern otome and MC is 29 years old who just got divorced from her husband, and for some reason I cant remember she gets involved with a male friend group consisting of 4 guys who are rich, hot and bad asffff 😋

Its basically a story about MC finding her identity again and mending her broken heart, I loved the more adult themes in it and how MC was 29, not some 16 year old girl who was chosen by fate to have 20+ year old guys thirsting after her

Not the mention the CGs are so steamy oh my days, especially Yosuke who is horny as hell lmaoo, no wonder he was my favourite LOL

I actually never played a Voltage game, but this game is one of the more interesting ones in my opinion. It is pretty rare for an MC to be in her mid to late twentys or be divorced. If I want something more steamy, I will consider playing it

BLOODY CALL, an otome game developed and published by Icing Candy, also had a PSP version back in the day.
It features beautiful twin male protagonists who are not entirely human, each with their own tattoos (which can be summoned as weapons in battle, depicted in animated sequences).
The story revolves around two factions vying for the heroine. I enjoyed playing it at the time; although it's an older game, somewhat similar in style to Armen Noir, the plot wasn't as tragic or despairing.

Oh! BLOODY CALL flew totaly under my radar. The whole weapon thing sounds so interesting! It is rare to get these kinds of animated sequences and i actually love this kind of thing.

It was popular some years ago but people don't talk much about Heart no Kuni no Alice anymore. It's a really fun franchise, with a charismatic and strong MC as well as an interesting plot. Quinrose's games never disappoint. I hope someone translates them. The fact that those games are only available in Japanese prevents more people from discovering them

Machi de Uwasa no Hakushaku-sama. One of my favorite games. Short, cute and funny otome with VA. In one route I laughted a lot. But Sadly no English translation.

Doesnt this game have at least six or seven other games in the series? At least the Anniversary no Kuni no Alice version of the game got a fan translation patch.

It looks interesting! From the vndb page, i would have guessed, that it is a dark-ish game, interesting to hear that it is more on the comedic side.
oh There is many endings 10+. Some good ones, dark and comedic ones. Also 3 routes.

Not even a lesser known title, but a title nobody ever heard about - ヘクソカズラ (Hekusokazura)

It's about a girl, who lost her family in an accident and has to come to her relatives' home in a rural town. It starts like a regular story, but the further it goes, the stranger things happen. The story is more horror-oriented, than romance-oriented, but very engaging (and it's a completely free doujin game)

Recommend it for people who like daek, deep and good-written stories, like Homicipher

I am not a fan of horror or extremely dark games (same reason why i havent played Homicipher), so this game propably isn't for me, but it is nice to hear you enjoyed it. I hope someone who likes these kinds of stories finds this game and enjoys it as much as you did!
