Do you 100% complete your otome/bl VNs?

Nope. I only go for the characters I'm actually interested in.
If a route doesn't grab me, I skip it. Life's too short to force myself through LIs I don't care about!

I always try to go for 100% completion and collect every CG, but sometimes the game is just too long.
In some games, even when you choose a different romance route, most of the story remains the same. The same major events still happen in the same order, and the main differences are the interactions with the love interest, some dialogue variations, and the ending.

Because of that, if the game is very long, I tend to get fatigued and progress through it much more slowly. Since the shared scenes aren't completely identical and often contain small dialogue changes, I'm reluctant to use the skip button because I don't want to miss any details. As a result, completing 100% of the routes can be very time-consuming. But yeah, I always try to go for 100% completion. EXCEPT, I just get tired (which most of the time are due to simulation games that are very repetitive), in cases like that, I would delete the game LOL. (Since i don't have enough space)

I do 100% complete everything, with a help of skip option. Before I only did that with bad endings, but nowdays sometimes whole routes get skipped if they where not interesting enough. So many interesting things published, so little time 🙃

I am a completionist because I want to experience all the endings and collect every CG. However, for my first playthrough, I prefer to play blind and make my own choices. After that, I'll start using walkthroughs to unlock the rest of the endings and grab all the remaining CGs.

Yes, I try to see everything the story has to offer.
Seeing every ending is like collecting a puzzle for me.

When I start a game, I always tell myself I'm gonna 100% it, but I almost never do lol. I just don't have the attention span for it.

I do 100% completion for all my vns no matter what, because I want to collect all the cgs and each part of the story so that I don't miss out on anything

Not always; sometimes I just finish my favorite LI's route and uninstall the game... But if the story is interesting and good, I'll complete the game 100% without any problem.

I will if i really get into a game, but usually i only play my favorite routes and leave it at that if i don't become interested in the remaining characters while I'm doing that...
For really short games though? Definitely, since it would mostly only take a few hours to get everything.

I realized that if I manage to finish my visual novels—unlike otome or BL games—maybe because they're longer and have a lot of content.

Yeah, normally I try to collect every single ending. But if a game starts to bore me, I'll just finish the happy ending and close it, because sometimes bad endings just feel like the creator indulging in some cruel streak and only wanting to torture the player. But when a bad ending contains scenes that let me understand the characters and the overall themes more fully, I'll put in as much time as it takes to unlock it — no matter how long.

Sure! I enjoy exploring every route. Partly, I feel it gives me a more complete understanding of the game's world and different characters' perspectives. I also think that each ending represents a different possibility within the game—like a multiverse—so I'm curious to see just how many parallel universes exist.

Only if I absolutely love the game and it has a good skip feature! If I'm really hooked on a VN, I love going back to hunt for all those little extra details and hidden scenes the devs put in (∩_∩)

always and must be 100% yeah that's something my past self would definitely say lol, i used to love doing 100% completion for otome and bl vn because of the psvita trophy system and it made me someone who really aims for 100% completion, but since this system was removed for switch i never felt obligated to do something like this anymore, and besides for the past few years there hasn't been an otome or bl vn that made me interested in completing it to 100% so usually i would just play the good ending and if i was interested in the character then i would put in enough effort to play the bad ending

Nope, I almost never 100% complete any otome or BL VN.🤔 I only play through the routes of characters I'm genuinely obsessed with and drop the rest entirely. Going back to replay bland side love interests just to unlock every single ending feels like tedious busywork to me—if I don't care about a character's story, I have zero motivation to force myself through all their content just for a full completion log.🤣

In the past, because of my personality, I couldn't feel satisfied unless I completed everything perfectly.
But now I simply don't have the time or energy anymore, so I focus only on the parts I want to see and the things I want to do.

I usually only play for the one i like, because if i'm not interested, then it's a no for me. And fortunately, my favs rarely become the main guy, so i can play their route straight away. But in the cases where the one i'm aiming is the main guy, or i need to play the other route first to unlock it, then i'll play the other route first, like in collarxmalice and tengoku struggle (which ended up with me loving the other guys more than the one i previously aimed 😄). Or in case that i loves all the guys, or i really realyyy like the story, i'll play all the route. minus the bad ending. So i wouldn't say i 100% complete my games, because my heart can't handle the bad end hehe

Never. I always end up putting games aside halfway for one reason or another, so even finishing just one route is already good enough for me.

Yep, but I have to do it in one go. If I stop playing the game and get to another I won't go back to completing the first

If I enjoy the storyline, then I do but if im not a fan I normally only finish the routes for the charcters I like. But getting it 100% is super satisfying!

Nope. I am way too lazy for that... and usually only interested in one or two of the characters, anyway. I might try to unlock 100 % if there is a particular reward or something (a secret route, for example).
