For me, it's when the romance develops naturally. I love watching the characters slowly understand each other through small moments and conversations instead of falling in love all at once. That gradual growth is what makes a route stay with me long after I've finished it.

I completely agree! I love a naturally developed romance instead of insta-love tropes where the heroine or usually the LI just falls in immediately. And I love little scenes that demonstrate how MC and the LI are actually emotionally compatible and a good fit for eachother in terms of their values or interests - it feels like wow, these two would actually make a strong long term relationship work and that the relationship is not just built on physical attraction!

like for example an LI is talking about a certain principle or goal he has, maybe he's really ambitious and has big plans for the future, and the MC might respond with how she admires people like that who have a strong drive and how it inspires her to keep working towards her goals too!! Small stuff like that is so cute

I think the most unforgettable route for me is the kind of plot that is full of ups and downs, a bit heart wrenching and tear jerking. The process can make me sad and upset, but I can only accept the happy end of the story. This kind of plot will make me unforgettable for a long time, and I may even remember it and play it repeatedly many times.

In addition, subtle psychological and emotional shifts particularly appeal to me. If a character grows mentally or changes their perspective on things (not necessarily in romance) due to events, even a bad ending feels like a good route to me, if it's well-developed.

I think so too.This kind of description makes me feel like I've gone through a lifetime along with the story.Whenever I look back on all that happened at the end, it feels like things have changed but people haven't.This feeling is truly unforgettable.

I prefer a slow and steady love story, from getting to know each other to confirming our feelings, perhaps experiencing misunderstandings, trials, and arguments, but ultimately achieving mutual understanding and acceptance, unfolding gradually.
The male and female leads don't necessarily have to be attracted to each other from the start; they can even start by disliking each other and then slowly develop feelings.
I dislike one-night stands the most; they're too boring.

我比較喜歡細水長流,從互相認識到確定彼此心意,中間可能經歷誤會,考驗,吵架等等,但能夠彼此理解或是認同,慢慢鋪陳的愛情故事.
男女主角不一定要一開始就互相抱有好感,也可以從互看不順眼,再慢慢培養感情.
最不喜歡一夜情,太無趣了.

LI and MC interaction with other characters. It makes me feel they are their own person, have their own life and relationships, not only love towards each other. I still can enjoy game with fully character focused but the details I mentioned above are what makes a good game for me.

I agree! Having a present cast beside the protagonists makes the world feel more real and it allows for great scenarios that otherwise would be unattainable. Especially when the other LIs are present and not just disappear as if they only exist in their route.

I am also big on stylized art, I don't need it perse, but I think that it helps the game stand out and makes it easier for me to remember it.

slow burn romance. Natural development from the interaction between LI and MC, psychological aspect and also survival aspect too in the situation between life and death revolves. Instant romance development from games nowadays is too fast that i can't comprehend. In the first place why the LI and MC even attracted to each other to begin with, sorry but i'm looking at you 9 R.I.P. Exceptional it's understandable if the story is sprinkle with childhood friend or love at first sight trope.
