Do you identify with the main character or do you watch the story from the outside as a spectator? I imagine myself in the place of the main character, i love to immerse myself in the story.

For me it's vice versa! My otome experience is similar to reading romance books or watching romance movies. I mostly feel like a fairy godmother to MC, guiding her with decisions and leading her to a happy ending (bad endings as well because I like angst xd). I keep MC's default name and also I love that when they have their unique personality traits. Bonus points if they are voiced. I was pleasantly surprised when I heard Beniyuri's voice in PotBB.
