i feel like most sports manga would make decent otome.. i mean they already have tons of bishies after all, why not let girlies romance them too?w stuff like blue lock or kurobasu (i know it already has one) or haikyuu
same with like, a lot of shounen. yugioh for example has a TON of pretty boys from all parts/seasons! and i mean, there are already multiple psp games where you fight them and get their endings and stuff.. but almost all of them feature male protagonist only, so just replace him with a female protagonist and sprinkle it with some fanservice and itll sell like hotcakes!!
and, and, i know it was an april fools joke this year, but a rezero otome would slap hard i think! i would romance the shit out of ferris, my adorable crossdressing kitty boy;^;

other than that though im not really sure, because ive been reading nothing but yuri these days;;

Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess
I'd also like to agree with Vadtd!! I really wanted Penelope to end up with Winter, and yes, I get that his love was imperfect, but I don't care!!! I love Callisto, but I would've done anything to see her end up with Winter instead.

speaking of manhwa, wouldnt it be fun if we got an otome based on "for your murder"? granted, it wouldnt exactly be otome in the general sense, because theres very little space for romance in the story, but if we had the ability to play along with inseop till the very end, or betray him in the most crucial moment, or even cause him to actually kill us! and he would make such a good yandere(?) too!!

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
I love this anime. And especially It's interesting to get to know Kenji Yamaguchi better

Although I really like how the plot goes and Shizuku as a character.

We can have at least three characters.
- Haru Yoshida
- Kenji Yamaguchi
- Yuuzan Yoshida

Without a doubt, I would love Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess and Who Made Me a Princess; I think both would be adorable. I'm surprised there isn't an anime adaptation of Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess yet; maybe it's because the novel has officially finished, but the manhwa is nearing its end. I think I Fell into a Reverse Harem Game would make a great game too.

Naver used to collab with Cinamon Inc. for Maybe, and there was quite a lot of Naver Webtoon that got turned into games. I think a non-mobile version of this with different publishers would be pretty nice.

I would like to see "Surviving as a Maid in a Horror Game" as an Otome Game! It would probably not be the most romantic, but we need more horror themed otomes anyways ( ´Д`) Imagine there's a suspicion bar that changes depending on your actions and how each playthrough is different... I even want to play it now honestly.

If more on the traditional romance otome side, probably "Obsidian Bride". I need more people to talk about this manwha, it's so underated! It's about a girl who is competing in a fantasy version of a dating show, as a replacement for someone else. The guys in this are so beautiful and interesting (some reminiscent of popular otome LI tropes), and the interesting premise alone would make for a nice otome!

for me it would have to be I Don't Want To Play Matchmaker. it already has multiple endings in the light novel. not sure if the manhwa will adapt them, but i'd love to see all the routes if it was an otome game.

Roxana (official English title) or I'll Protect the Female Lead's Older Brother, although it would be a bit murky since some are her half-brothers, Roxana has several suitors. Cassis Pedelian, Jeremy Agrece, Dean Agrece, In addition, other heads of household fall in love with her.

Yona of the Dawn gets the official award. It's not even that i want it that badly, it's just that itd... fit the best. Ouran Highschool Host Club im pretty sure HAS an otome game but it's still a pick for me !

As for personal picks rather than "what I think would be very profitable" - I'm really into the main antagonist from Ajin: Demi-human...

But they'd never let a shonen become an otome... It's forbidden love, I suppose . . .

I want to see these manhwas adopted into otome games:

- I'm stuck on the remote island with the male leads

- Marchioness Maron

- Trapped at home with the male leads

- That piece of trash was me

Tamon-kun wa Docchi!?

Sorry, Tamon, but I want to date the rest of the boys too. They're all so charming! Maybe there is a possibility? Considering that it's a shoujo.

Also, pretty much any sports shonen. There are so many boys with dating potential!

I know we're talking about animanga/manhwa, but here's something interesting from a light novel series that got an anime adaptation.

A few years ago, for April Fools', the Date A Live franchise released a PV "otome game" featuring genderbent versions of the heroines, all voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki. Actually is only the image and the seiyuu giving voice to the character.

To be honest, found their male designs incredibly charming, especially the second one (last one in the vid). I'd love to see a love interest with that kind of design and personality (for those who know who is it can give similar recommendations)

I'm not saying I want genderbent content in general. I just think it's interesting that a series centered around a harem could make this kind of harmless joke and offer a fresh perspective on its own cast. It makes me wonder why stories that are mostly about male characters don't do something similar once in a while.

Here's the link if you want to hear Shimazaki Nobunaga's voice range.

Yona of the dawn for me too!
Started reading the manga because of the anime and I loved it, the settings, plot, characters etc
So many potential LIs that could come out of it, and Yona is such an amazing heroine tooo

I remember there were a few otome game tie-ins during the DS era such as ones for Prince of Tennis, Vampire Knight, and Ouran High School Host Club.... I never played them, but I think it's interesting to see how the story adapts or changes.

Anyways, to answer the question: Kamisama Kiss, I Failed to Oust the Villain, The Script Shop of Dream

Villains are destined to die would be an amazing otome game imo! But maybe that just stems from me wanting an Eckles route lol, I LOVE how toxic their dynamic is I kinda wish it was explored more.

Oh I absolutely loved the novel and it would have been nice to see the routes developed. Cory was always my favorite. As for what I'd like to see adapted there is this novel/manhua called Winter Rabbit in Wonderland. I remember liking the novel and think it would be fun to see it in an otome format since it was on the darker side with it's worldbuilding. I also felt like the romance could have been more developed so it being an otome would allow for that.
