Your opinion on otome gacha games

Is your favourite LI Rafayel perhaps? He has some of the worst banner rotations.
no, mine is Xavier, I'm okay with Xavier solo banner bcs he always came home but it's really exhausting to gather new savings for the next banner especially when all LI banner appears then that's the time Xavier won't come/need to be rate on first to get him 😮‍💨

and true Rafayel's banner is the example of worst banner rotation, even my friend decided to stop & uninstalling the game it bcs how bad her luck in every Rafayel's banner 😭

I enjoy otome gacha games, but I'm probably a more casual player than most. I don't usually spend much, and I don't have a lot of time to grind, so I mostly focus on the main story.
For me, the story is what makes or breaks an otome game. I can appreciate beautiful character designs and artwork, but if the writing doesn't keep me invested, I tend to lose interest after a while. Unfortunately, that's happened with a lot of recent titles. I still enjoy trying new games, but these days I haven't found one that really keeps me hooked for the long term.
One thing I really dislike is how predatory some gacha systems can be. I don't mind rolling for optional collectibles, but I hate when important story content, character interactions, or exclusive routes are locked behind specific cards that you may never get unless you're lucky or willing to spend a lot of money. It feels frustrating when content is technically in the game, but you can only fully enjoy it if you manage to pull the right character or card.
That said, I do like the gacha aspect when it's not too demanding. Getting a favorite character can be exciting, but I'm not someone who feels the need to collect every card or pull on every banner 😅

XAVIER. His KOD scandal was so heartbreaking. Did they ever fix the bugs?

Personally I rarely pull on non-myth banners, but I try my luck on the mixed banners every now and then if the concept is really appealing (Catch-22, 2nd Anni, the recent spa banner).

This game really has too little ways of gathering gems in endgame. Because I've skipped so many solo and mixed banners, I can't full clear on SHC either, so I'm just slowly farming protocores every day...

I tried LADS, but I saw how greedy Infold is (never gonna play one of their games in the future) and apart from that, misogynist (the CEO had to apologize after he said that female players were second citizens).
Plus, the game was really boring for me. And I saw that some people who play it are becoming what they spite (incels). So yeah... I will try Silent Whispers, but probably I'm not going to play for too long if it becomes an Infold 2.0...

I have a kneejerk dislike of them both because the time and money sink they are (I could buy a game for the money they ask for the CHANCE to experience their games...) and because I always have the bitter, bitter thought of "if this had been pitched a few years before it could have just been a regular Vita release.", which is my gen opinion of every single story driven gacha game.
Extremely sad because a few years back I was excited about everyone getting a smarphone because it's just the perfect platform to port VNs to, or even have cheaper smaller games that wouldn't be as viable economically to release on portable consoles, but it just kinda didn't happen because of the gacha game boom overlap, and it is made even worse with Google trying to close off android, so not even third party solutions might be available in the future. Gacha games are also an archiving nightmare, if it goes down and no one recorded certain aspect of the game then bye bye forever I guess, it's really hard to see any upsides aside from "infinite money glitch so the company can make full fledged games on home console or PC once in a while"

I admit that I play LADS, but I don't like gacha otome games. In those games, you can't focus on just one love interest—the MC ends up being shared by everyone, and that makes me uncomfortable. I just can't form an emotional bond with the characters in games like that. I can feel love when reading a visual novel that takes 20 hours or more, but I don't get that feeling when the romance is dumped on me within just a couple of hours of story.

I wish there were more of them in English. More different types of otome gachas: rhythm games, puzzle games, strategy and so on...
I used to play Touken Ranbu т-т
I want to play YumeKuro in English... and many Chinese gacha games, they are so beautiful...
I reaaaally like the aesthetic of Lovebrush Chronicles. But it mostly story, so I don't have desire to log in every day. It's like a visual novel, so just reading the story is enough for me. Well, but I want beautiful cards too, and for them you need "paint", and you can't get it unless you play...
I think we need more different otome gachas, because now we don't really have enough choices and many gachas are too greedy or time-consuming. They need good balance...
It's not otome, but CookieRunKingdom is perfect balance for me haha. And I come back to Idolish7 from time to time.

In the end, I just log in mechanically to pull gacha, but I never get what I want! It's a constant cycle, and I get bored because I can't genuinely enjoy the story.
It consumes a tremendous amount of time, so lately I've almost completely stopped doing it and now just browse information on social media.

I tried playing once, but it was very difficult for me... I feel like using money is really necessary there. Sometimes I watch videos on Youtube

If the main thing you think of when playing a game is collecting cards and not the story then I'm not interested. I'm trying out Light and Night right now because someone said the story is the main focus and so far that seems to be true.

It can be annoying but with a different mindset if you are patient with experience as a f2p in gacha games, you can kind of enjoy the game. I'm playing LADS just doing the dailies and chilling. Whenever I get content from my LI I celebrate it but you can't play a monetized gacha otome like any other regular otome.

I rarely play those because the constant grind of dailies and events just isn't for me. (:3[___] too lazy
I'm also not mentally prepared for the inevitable shutdown after investing so much time and effort into... If a title interests me, I'd rather look for a console or standalone version / anime or so, or simply follow the artists and writers instead. That was how I get into Ken ga Kimi and Utapri! ✨

I play gacha games, but I really don't like them.
I always end up pulling until I get my favorite character. I used to spend money, but now I only do free pulls.
At this point it's hard to quit because I've invested so much time and collected so many characters, but once I'm done with this game, I'm never starting another gacha game again.😂

If there's a character I like, I'll play it, but I think most gacha otome games lack romance lol.
They keep the meaningful romantic options behind a paywall, and they don't even impact the main story, it's tiring.

I'm not particularly fond of gacha games. Having to worry about stamina and keep up with limited-time events can feel exhausting because they demand so much of your time. If there's something that really appeals to me, I might still play one, but when it comes to otome games, I prefer being able to play whenever I want, however I want, and take my time enjoying the story.

Honestly theyre fun but I can only handle one at a time.
Theyre so money hungry and the events never stop so if youre playing more than one it gets exhausting real fast. Plus my wallet can't take it.

Whether it's gacha or capsule toys,I don't like either of them because I've never had good luck.

I often can't get what I want. I've tried saving up tickets for a long time and using them all at once, but I can only hit the pity system at best. Same with capsule toys. And then my whole day just feels off.

Gaming is supposed to be fun, but it's really not worth ruining my mood over these kinds of mechanics—especially when I see other people online who got what they wanted in just a few pulls

Otome gacha games can be fun if the story and characters are good. I enjoy pulling for my favorite characters, but gacha rates can feel difficult for F2P.
