What's one trope you usually dislike, but one game made you love it?

Well, I usually don't like the "childhood friend" trope because I never felt like it was handled in a way that made me find that friend attractive—in other words, that made me see him as a romantic option. But something about Caleb from LADS changed that; it's as if he's exactly what I was looking for.

Im usually not a fan of shouta LIs but something about Tokisada from olympia soiree makes me have 2nd thoughts. I think its because Tokisada was the most normal of the LIs and it was just refreshing to see someone who treated olympia like a friend first and foremost. I couldn't care less about bigoted Riku (his route sucked) and Gary Sue Akaza even though they would usually be the guys I would go for!!

I love how Tokisadas route focused more on him and his past and how he was dealing with his trauma from all of that, oh and also just helping bring some much needed light into Olympias life 🥲 honestly just such a beautiful and comparably normal route compared to the rest, he will always be my #1!!!

I don't hate friendly characters, but friendly characters seem boring. However, even friendly characters tend to play until the end

I don't really like narcissistic and playboy characters, but Zen from MysMe managed to win me over. His route made me see that he wasn't just a petty guy who only brags about his own appearance, as was my first impression of him haha
