Do you 100% complete your otome/bl VNs?

Unless it becomes so unbearable that I want to drop it I try to 100% everything! To be honest I can't say it's worth it every time, but ideally all of the endings create a full picture of the story for me, I feel like I'm missing out if I don't at least skim over everything

When trying to unlock a character that requires completing everyone else's routes, I aim for a 100% completion rate,
but when there's no need to unlock that kind of character, I usually just watch the endings for the characters I like and finish the game.

While I aim for 100% completion I typically I get around 80-90%, some Li dont click with me so I dont feel like playing more then their best ending

YES! Usually, you get the full story only if you finish all the routes. Plus there's often an unlockable love interest and "true ending". So I don't really get how you can stick to only one route...
Although there were times when I hated the LI and his route so much, I skipped through the whole dialogue... but I still unlocked every cg, otherwise it would keep bothering me 😭 (and I reaaaaaally wanted to get to the "secret" LI, too, so....)

Yes, I do, and Steam achievements if there are any. But this is especially painful if I buy the R18 patch from Jast. It interferes from how the game procs achievements, so after playing everything through, I need to nuke my save file, remove the patch, and play the whole game over again to get the Steam achievements.

It's not that bad though because I just treat it as rereading the story!

yep! i dont skip routes, and if i see something that could potentially piss me off in a game, id rather skip it outright than play the game but skip a route/ending. i also prefer to clear bad endings first, unless the guide im using is doing good/true route first ww^^

however, if im in the middle of reading and am feeling bored out of my mind, i will probably drop the game. not a hard guarantee (im a completionist after all), but a high possibility. happened to me a couple of days ago with a non-otome title. i started reading this vn, but it was just so.... bad......... i dropped it midway LOL

so yeah, most of the time its either 100% or 0% for me!

not often but that's on me for having so many different interests and flip flopping through them like crazy LOL i'm working on that... i do try to complete vns and not skip anything even if the love interest doesn't personally appeal to me because i want to have a clear, full view of the game with the good and bad (if possible)! so there is a possibility i'll return to vns i put on hold for that reason...

but i also get people who don't, bc time becomes more and more precious as we age and responsibilities pile up so if you're really really not feeling it i don't think there's any shame in dropping a title. it still should be a fun hobby at the end of the day, i think...

Yep, I almost always complete all the routes because I want to get the full story and a LI I wasn't initially interested in may end up becoming my fave. I've only skip a route once or twice and it was only because I couldn't get myself to play it. I don't do all endings though, I only do endings that comes with cgs and endings that add to the story/character. The only endings I skip are the common route bad endings or other minor bad endings (unless I end up on them lol) because they don't add anything to the story so I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

I try to aim for 100% completion whenever possible, but sometimes I don't manage it. Sometimes I'll take breaks and eventually come back to fully complete the game, but if a game doesn't really click with me, I often don't force myself to complete it.

I try to! Not out of a completionist mindset, but with the intent to get as much as I can out of a story. You never know where a line that might stick with you could be, or where you'll find a bit of extra characterization, unless you go through all the routes, endings, and choices available!

It depends. If the content I'm missing is angst, well, if it's not required to unlock more content... no, I don't do it.

If I like a character, I'll complete the game 100%.
Since I play while referring to a walkthrough from the very beginning, achieving 100% completion isn't difficult for me.

not anymore. I used to try to 100% my games, but it's just too exhausting and ultimately a waste of my time, because I don't care about all the bad/dead ends or achievements that I would forget about in a week.
