Route you play first in a game?

I follow the recommended order, so I discover more details about the story step by step. I get to know more information as I play more routes.
 
I choose the order of completing routes according to the call of my heart 🙃
Since I'm not afraid of ruining the narrative, I always go from best to worst
 
I usually play in the intended order, but when there's no specific route order to follow, I choose the character I like the most (normally the childhood friend/best friend) because friends to lovers is one of my favourite tropes

It depends on the reviews and the guide; if there are good reviews, then I start with the recommended route, if not, I start with the route I like best.

I started playing the character lines that I was interested in, and then slowly played other routes. Generally, if there are hidden routes in the game, it will attract me more!

If it is a game that I am very interested in and enjoy, I will complete all the characters!Even playing it repeatedly several times

I always play the route I think I'll be the most intrigued by or any that were recommended to me. Starting from the worst sounds nice and I wish I could do that but unless a game I play heavily needs the use of a guide (for me), then I'll try to gather my own thoughts while playing with no prior knowledge.

I follow the recommended order!! But if a character is too cute and their route is available I just go ahead and do that >_<

At the beginning, I usually choose the route of a character I like or am interested in. But if I fail (for example：keep getting bad endings, or the character is locked), then I will lookup the guide and continue playing in the order it recommends.

I usually start with the route of the character I liked the most from the common route. Once I finish that character's route, I proceed by referring to a guide.
 
Always start with the character that interest/like at the first sight then finishing all characters' routes. Usually I'm using a guide when I'm stuck getting an ending that I didn't got yet
 
I'm starting with my favorite character because, usually, during a replay it's just not the same, especially if the story barely changes.
 
If I find the plot interesting enough, I usually go with the recommended route order! Otherwise, I would just go with the character I like because getting spoiled with the plot at that point doesn't really matter to me compared to enjoyability.
 
These days, I always look up game guides before playing!
On guide websites, they usually recommend a specific order, and I tend to clear the game following that exact route!
 
I usually prefer to play my less favorite character's route first and save my favorite for last. :lapi_blush:
 
I usually check the recommended route order first.

However, I tend to save the character I'm most interested in for last and plan my play order around that.

The same goes for characters voiced by my favorite VAs—they usually end up near the end of my route order too!

It depends…if the game is a lore-ish game i'll just look up for the recommended order to avoid spoilers but if it's just a cute lovely dovely game i just go with my favourite character !! But sometimes even in lore-ish game i try to do my faves first and leave the rest at the end ( but most lore games have important routes locked behind the completion of the others so )
 
I go with whoever catches my eye. But somehow i always end up in the route that is locked, end game character or the one with the most spoilers heavy lol. I guess it just mean the developers just wrote them too good
 
My first route is always the one with my favorite LI, which always ends up being one of the last routes one should play in the recommended order😭😭
 
At first I play the character whose design I liked the most. The first playthrough is blind. For example i saw handsome long haired man or Li who looks mysterious. I always hope that he will become my favorite character. But... umm... im usually unlucky and my "favorite" is some psycho who trying to kill me...T.T Seems i have bad taste in man haha
