What titles do you predict will get localized in the future?

this year has been pretty generous when it comes to otome releases both on the jpn side and en side (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) but only half the year has passed and more news can come out so i wanna know if there's any jpn titles you think have a high chance of getting localized !!

i think my bets are on olympia soiree catharsis and utakata no uchronia -trail- since both of the main games were quite popular on the en side and ive seen lots of people be interested in olympia soiree's sequel (even if it was mostly because of hairi's aged up sprite) + lots of people also wanted tsuwabuki to be romanceable in uchronia so i think the fd will have a high chance of getting localized soon cause there's definitely lots of people who want it (me included) ^^

unlogical is a game i can see getting localized for sure in the future since it was popular on release and people on the en side love collar x malice a lot so they'd be inclined to pick up something by the same team again ;; but i think it'll be on a later date since it's still a new title and i personally think they'd prioritize uchronia's fd over it !! and while i personally dont think it's going to happen i still hope for a clock zero localization ... someday .... as well as one for blackish house since the games got a switch port now ;;

In previous years, Chinese localization progressed quite slowly, lagging far behind English localization. However, as publishers and game developers have gradually come to value the Chinese market, virtually every well-received title on the Switch platform has now been localized. Publishers typically announce Chinese localization news on social media around holidays such as Qixi Festival.

The decision to localize a title ultimately comes down to purchasing power. There are many people in the Chinese market who buy legitimate otome games.

I hope all the games my friends want to play get localized quickly.

For the EN community, I definitely agree with the olysoi and utk fd localisation predictions,, as for non-fandisks, honey vibes maybe? I'm kinda hoping they'll eventually localize matsurika no kei but it might be a bit too controversial to make it unfortunately.. TT

They have yet to say anything about parade's lesson, but I expect it to get announced by Mangagamer this year? Or, gosh, I hope it does, it's definitely the title of theirs I think I'd like the most. AND with JAST BLUE'S release of MASQUERADE, I also am keeping my hopes up for other PIL/SLASH titles, since apparently their older works aren't off the table (MASQUERADE just turned 20 like a week ago, happy birthday MASQUERADE.)

For the otome side of things, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Key la box once that's out!

ive recently seen lots of people ask for a honey vibes loc so i can see it happening ! i would also really really love matsurika no kei too i love how pretty that game is ><

Olympia soiree for sure - they just had a whole exhibition which is often an indicator of olysoi being a broader title game like CxM

Now that Ayakashi Gohan is getting a fandisk after a whole decade, I'm hoping they're going to push for a localization too!

The newer titles that we're seeing this year prob too: unlogical, Sully land, Crazy Chain...although it'll depend on their sales.

im like 98% sure crazy cha!n is gonna get localized in a year or two after the release, simply because its produced by the same team as virche, which was extremely popular in otome circles! probably gonna get a fandisk immediately after too w
hakuouki ibun seems like a safe bet too, even if its so different from previous hakuouki games. but just like the doll from house said, It Never Ends
sullyland nursery rhyme seems to be making a lot of noise, so i wouldnt be surprised if it was localized as well!
and, as controversial as it is, id assume wakudeki will get a localization as well. maybe the negative attention it got from all the sides is actually gonna boost its popularity! i know id be tempted into buying it.. if i had a switch!!!!!D:
as for older titles, i agree! it feels like clock zero is long long long overdue for a localization.. especially with how big of a popularity boost it got with the latest anniversary >_<

eh, is there something wrong with matsurika no kei?:0
depends on each person's tolerance but what i do know is that it's similar to olympia soiree where in the game the values and beliefs of the people towards the mc and women in general is old fashioned / problematic which makes sense for the time period it's set in so people could definitely be put off by that

oh! i mean tengoku struggle had lis outright threaten to rape the mc. multiple times. and it was heavily censored in the localization iirc? and its pretty much gender wars: the game LOL so i would imagine theyd have no issues to bring matsurika to the west as well, especially since olympia soiree is already translated

tengoku struggle was made very vanilla for en release to the point where i was confused why there was so much fuss about the lis being misogynistic when they dont even feel that bad but i still see people get upset or atleast annoyed with how they act even after that censoring so it does depend on how much you can bend things to make sure you keep the original intent intact but also localize it so that it's more digestible

i do know that there's a li in matsurika who i think sells off the mc which you cant really change in any way but yes i still hope it does get localized just cause i find it's ui and artwork to be extremely gorgeous

hmm. to be honest i totally missed the "controversy" on the en side (if there even was one), i only know why jp girlies disliked this game, and it wasnt exactly because of the language ww
its disappointing though. i feel like a fair warning about the contents would be more than fine.. censoring 50% of the game does not sound good at all;;

no controversy afaik but more often than not when i see someone pick up this game without knowing what it's like they tend to be put off by how everyone acts in the common route

it's the same for me like there should just be a fair warning / disclaimer about titles with such topics but changing what it means just so itll sell more easily just makes me feel sad cause the people who are ok with it will get it regardless and people who arent wont even if you try to mellow things down and even if they do theyll still feel uncomfortable cause you can censor it all you like but you cant really take away what the story's actually meant to be about
