Which do you prefer? Otome Heroine with sprite or not?

I'm the unpopular opinion that would prefer no sprite at all or a customizable one lol because I *do* self-insert. Then again I feel like it's a good point to make that both no sprite, customizable sprite and default design sprite are all the superior choices compared to when some games just... have some weird grey blob in place of a protagonist...

With the sprites! Because I want to see the diferent expresions of the MC rather than just a blank face. I don't really self-insert because I see the heroine as her own character, so yeah- I prefer the sprites

I self insert most of the time, but I don't really mind if she has a sprite or not. Although tbh I find it pretty easy to self insert into a lot of otome mcs even if their personality is vastly different from mine like I'll just see them as alternate universe versions of myself lol. I'll always find a way to somehow (?) self insert

i prefer sprites, i don't usually self insert so i like when the heroine has her own sprites especially when she has a face.

I prefer it with sprites! I think it's rare nowadays to find Otome games that don't have the heroine's expression, especially since they want to give the character more personality and life. Even though there's the option to turn it off normally, which I don't use, I always think it's nice to have that option.

I like heroine with sprite and if she has a voice it would be SUPER perfect for me !

I prefer seeing the MC. It's much better to see her design and expressions in the CGs alongside the male leads.
 
I don't self-insert, so I prefer MCs who have their own sprites. I love seeing their expressions when they react to things, and plus, I can ship them with my OCs (˵ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°˵)
 
I definitely prefer otome heroines with sprites! Even though I sometimes like self-inserting into the story, having a visible sprite lets me see their expressions, emotions, and personality way better. It makes the heroine feel like a real character instead of just a blank slate. I enjoy being able to connect more with the story and love how the sprite brings her to life visually.
 
They give a lot of character to our heroines. And it let me read their emotions better. So, I greatly appreciate when they are in a game.
 
Heroine with sprite! I don't self insert much, and I love not worrying about how to draw fanart of the protag with the LI 🤩
 
with a sprite and if possible with a personality and big role in plot! I love when MC is a seperate character that has a name and her own views.
 
With portrait/sprite, always! I rarely self-insert, but I think having CGs where the MC doesn't have a face looks weird/off compared to CGs where the MC does have a face, whether you self-insert or not.

And honestly, I think it's easier to self-insert if the MC does have an actual personality and features. It helps with connecting with the MC, after all. I always find it harder to enjoy games without an MC portrait, or at least an MC with an established personality.
 
I don't really care about the female protagonist.
Of course, I think it's a bit better if she's pretty, though.
 
I don't self-insert at all. I usually see the heroine as her own character and view the story from a third-person perspective.
I also prefer heroines with sprites because they feel more like real characters rather than just an extension of the player.

Without, because I don't like their expressions art and the blushing faces look weird to me most of the time. I always self-insert and still leave sprites on if there's any as part of the story (since that's my avatar in that world), but I like it more when there aren't any to begin with.
