Tickets in mobile otome games

I don't have that kind of patience in me anymore. And generally pricing are too high for what it's worth. So I tend to avoid those games. :c
 
Depending on the type of game, tickets aren't the breaker for me with enjoyment.

My real gripe is the best (or true) choices costing gems or diamonds. ರ⁠╭⁠╮⁠ರ

One allows me to play the game, albeit more slowly than I originally would have liked, but the other option can ruin the game for you entirely or leave you missing HUGE scenes from the story. (⁠╯⁠ರ⁠ ⁠~⁠ ⁠ರ⁠)⁠╯⁠︵⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

I feel I have no say in this because I personally quit mobile Otome games (and any other mobile VNs/ anything similar) a while ago (as in years). These companies can easily delete their games off of the apps stores, even one time purchases and that alone has kept me from playing many. Other than that, the way they're structured is not to my tastes, the episodes lengths are very short and are almost always unsatisfactory; not worth the wait, the writing tends to be not the best, and the coin/ticket/currency system like all micro transactions are predatory and trick you into spending more than you would have for this quality of game. That's all I can remember for now. Every time I would pick one up I felt the games were overhyped but that could just be my distaste for the overall experience and (low, imo) expectations these apps are held to, sadly (A western example of one I found completely overhyped would be The Arcana? I think that was it's name).

Episode games moment 😂. Players force to choose bad option because we just f2p broke player. I feel you. But still, game like this dont really worth throw money from my opinion. Better they just make paid game from the start. And if the game doesnt make enough profit, they just EOS the games and players got nothing, especially for whalers
 
I personally never like otome game in mobile, the art and audio quality are insanely low, and it is basically gacha.. I don't hate gacha but for otoge, I prefer normally purchased game.. the timing to read the story got interrupted a lot too if it is gacha..
 
As a rule, I don't play any mobile games, and this is exactly one of the reasons why.
Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy, and Tales of have had some great games, but I don't see the point in investing time and money in something with an uncertain future. You play and play, everything's great, and then suddenly they shut the game down and there's nothing you can do about it.
And what about otome games? Usually, the monetization is so terrible that it kills the desire to play. Got to a cool part? Pay up, or else you'll have to wait. Want to unlock a costume? Pay up, or hope you happen to get it in a gacha (knowing the odds, you probably won't get it anyway). At first, I really liked Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ for the songs, but there was too big a difference between what you could get just by playing the game and the cool stuff people got for real money :/
