Which otome game should every player complete?

For me personally, these are Piofiore, Virche Evermore, 9 R.I.P., Scarlet Fate, Him, the Smile & Bloom, Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk, Cupid Parasite and Hana Awase. There are many other wonderful games that I enjoyed, but even though these titles are so different from one another, they are the first that come to mind. :puniko_love:

I think just for mechanics and nostalgia sakes, Tokimeki Memorial Girls Side, preferably the first one for all the stress. ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭

For storyline? If you like something a bit more darker and bittersweet, I'd say Ebon's Light.

For choices and characters? I'd say Our Life: B&A. (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)⁠✧⁠*⁠。

I recommend Cupid Parasite — it's lighthearted, fun, and funny. I feel like it has pretty broad appeal? The sequel also has lots of sweet moments.

If you love stat-raising elements or collecting things, you have to play Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side! Also, this is just my personal opinion, but I feel like Amnesia is the absolute blueprint of otome games, so I'd love for everyone to experience it. And lastly, I'd be so happy if more people played Norn9 too, honestly just because my absolute favorite character is in it! Haha.

I think almost everyone who likes otome games has played Amnesia, but if they haven't then I would recommend that one, it is a must when playing otomes (and it's a good starter).
Also Café Enchante and Cupid Parasite, just bc (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧
 
Code: Realize Guardian of Rebirth, Collar x Malice, Piofiore: Fated Memories, Hakuoki, Even if Tempest, Birushana: Rising Flower, Jack Jeanne, Cupid Parasite, Olympia Soirée.
 
Glad to see Hakuoki mentioned here. I feel like it's one of the otome that's gotten the most visibility in English-speaking markets for sure.

I second this, I feel like these two are the main titans when it comes to Otomes, a perfect starter game for those who are new to the genre.

I was just about to recommend these haha, they are really worth playing! I have played all of these games, they are very fun! The character design and plot are all quite good! Highly recommended~

For me it's Ammesia and Collar x Malice!

Tokimeki is fun to play but it's hard to complete, and you don't have to complete it to understand the bigger story of the game like those two that I mention. But it's definitely a must play too! :alice_love:
