What features do you wish modern otome games would implement?

I really love the system in Over Requiemz. You can pick your love interest right from the start, with no locked routes at all, and each character's storyline barely overlaps with the others. Most of the dialogue choices don't affect the ending, but they trigger unique responses from the characters, which makes the experience feel way more immersive.

If KOEI will remake their old otome games to NS will be great. Their old otome games had numbering systems that were so interesting that made people play again and again. Their recent games are good but not have such system.
 
For my overly optimistic answer, I wish MCs were voiced more often than once in a blue moon. For a more realistic option, I wish more games had a dedicated button for replaying a voiceline outside of the log. (Ex. Blackish House has a button next to the textbox that replays the voiceline, and I've never encountered something like that in other games that doesn't require you to also open up the textlog). Even though it's only a difference of one or two button presses, I really feel the difference in how often I'll casually hit the button present on the UI versus how I virtually never open the log. Maybe it's an issue of not really having a spare button to assign to something like that on console, but it'd be impactful to me even in that small way. (Or maybe I just want more otome games to launch on PC?)

i really wish that there'd be more otomes with skip to next/previous choice option. It's so tiresome to wait for the next choice even with the skip text maxed out, so such function would be convenient. To hear MC's voice more often would be cool too.
 
MC Sprirt I feel like I never see them anyone ლ(⋋·⋌)ლ they are so cute I wish all games had them.

Oooh. Something like Love and Deepspace, right? I hope Live2D animations are more implemented too. haha. I also kind of want something like Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side way of letting players choose how to say the MC's name. Of course, that's still probably going to be limited to Japanese names and it might still sound iffy(basically it's just a voice bank of all Japanese consonants and vowels), but I think it's something worth exploring and upgrading since it's always been pretty awkward when an LI calls the MC's name in the dialogue box but in the voiced lines they go, "Kimi(You)/Nee(Hey)". Unless they voiced the default MC's name, and not everyone wants to use the default name.
 
I really wish we could customize the MC.. Just changing the hair, eye, and skin color would be amazing. Also, I totally agree with the comment above about a jealousy system! It'd be so much fun if the LIs started getting jealous of each other once you raise their affection levels.
