What are your thoughts on the ABO world setting in otome games?

This is honestly an interesting concept, and I understand how the idea of a F!Alpha appeals to many people, but like other people said here, I don't think I'm okay with the female MC having a male organ. Haha. If it's somehow retractable, I don't know if I'm fine with that either.

A female Beta MC could probably be interesting, because that can make the MC more opinionated than what is deemed 'normal' in an ABO society without the aggressiveness or competitiveness that you might find in a female Alpha MC.

But what I'm also afraid of with a F!Alpha MC other than the >1 reproductive organ part would be her potential LIs. I wouldn't want her to have wimpy LIs, tbh. Even if she has a M!Omega LI, he should still look and act like a man.

I think I will still prefer the female O and male A as traditional otome games, and the most important male character and the heroine strongly attract each other, and the relationship with other male characters could be something like falling in love in resistent of fate? I understand the ABO setting was set up to open different sexual combinations, but it's really different from the traditional otome game setting I will prefer to label it as otome&BL&GL, not under the otome section.

I mostly interact with ABO works that involves men. That's what I'm used to and don't deviate from that so I don't have any preferences for any women characters in that setting.

I think it would be such a fun mechanic if the game gave us a few choices before starting to decide whether the MC is an Alpha, Beta, or Omega, similar to how the MC's childhood choices shaped her personality in Ayakashi Gohan. It would be even better if the unlockable LIs were completely split based on that choice—having separate Alpha, Beta, and Omega routes for an Alpha MC, and distinct ones for an Omega MC. The replay value would be insane!

I'm usually very mild on ABO unless it grips me like the little rat I am. I need subby alphas, power bottom omegas, pining betas!! I need stuff that breaks the mould! And an otome with a power bottom alpha mc with a bunch of different routes (bratty omegas?? a pining beta maybe?!) would absolutely get me in a chokehold.
