Route you play first in a game?

I've just been wondering, but which character's route you go with first?
I personally look up guides and see if anyone has a recommended order bc I'm a coward and don't want to spoil the fun mostly!
I do also go blindly but that happens way less lately lol

But I do have heard people tend to also go for their fave VA, one with their fave visuals or even certain tropes! Which ones are you guys?

i just go off which one i find the most attractive/interesting i've never followed recommended routes before

Usually i go first for my favourite personality type or most attractive. Then go down the routes depending on who i like most to least. But sometimes a route that i thought i wouldn't enjoy surprises me and turns out to be one of my favorites so o try to keep an open mind

i usually play the first route recommended by otome kitten in their otomes guide 😆 but there are some otome where i can't get into so whenever i go back to those im just going to start the LIs route that im most interested in or have my fav voice actor lol

I read guides to play as quickly and conveniently as possible, so I follow the recommended order. If it doesn't matter then I go for the guy I'm most interested in.

i also go off of recommended order but sometimes i go for whoever interests me the most based on what i saw in the common route despite what the recommended order is
 
Back then, I used to play the routes that seemed less interesting first. I also relied on guides because whenever I played on my own, I somehow ended up on a different route than the one I actually wanted. Though, come to think of it, it still happens a little even now. But my way of thinking has changed, so these days I choose the routes I'm the most interested in or the characters I like first :)

Unless route order is really important, I almost always do a blind playthrough. I try to save the LI I'm most interested in for last if possible~

I usually check the walkthrough first before starting, and if it recommends following specific routes due to plot reasons then I play according to the guide. If there isn't any plot reasons then I first choose the LI I like the most visually.
 
I usually play the character that interest me first ( visual, voice); going in without guide cuz love the surprise when you get a happy ending with the choice I made.

I like following guides most of the time! If there aren't route order recommendations, and you can tell it's gonna be plot heavy, I try to go for whoever seems less likely to have a really important role. If it's not plot heavy, then I go for whoever I like most when it's time to branch out of the common route!

I don't mind spoilers at all. So unless a route is locked, and none of the LIs catch my eye, I usually just play by gut feeling.

但玩遊戲的時候，我常常沒有耐心玩完所有路線，這意味著我只能玩我最不喜歡的角色… :(

I tend to play the route of the character who seems to have the strongest feelings for the protagonist first. When I see a character who cares deeply for the protagonist or pays attention to even the smallest details, I naturally find myself drawn to them. When I see characters who have had a long-standing crush or who show affection from the very beginning, I feel the urge to bring them together, so I end up choosing them first.

I also usually look for a recommended order and follow it—I have a hard time picking who to play, so it's convenient when someone decides it for me xd
If I choose blindly (which happens way less), it depends on how much I enjoy the game. If I really like it and plan to 100% complete it, I pick the character I like the least first and leave the most interesting ones for last. If I don't care to finish it completely, I just play the ones I like.
I almost never look at the VA, and just choose characters based on their visuals and how they act in the prologue. and i don't have a concrete type, it really varies!

I always first play the route Im most interested in, then play the recommended order as I always think that in order for me to get an actual feel on the game, I should play the route I think I will enjoy the most especially most routes wont spoil the other routes too much so Im just fine doing it that way.

I always play my favourite character route first then I may play my second favourite or follow the route order.
 
I always start with the character who catches my eye first. But if another character catches my attention along the way and I can still switch routes, I'll switch over to him. Once I fall for someone, I'm totally locked in!
 
I always start with the most boring route, the one I'm least interested in, or the one I know I'll hate, because that way I maintain the excitement throughout the game (because if I play my favorite route, or the one I think will be my favorite at the beginning, which has happened to me before, I lose interest). But if I don't have a favorite (one I designated from the start), I usually choose someone I like but know won't be my favorite. For example, in Diabolik Lovers, no matter which game I play in the series, I always choose Laito first, and it's not because I hate or detest him, but because I like him. He's not the one I love, just the one I like.
I'm almost always right in the order from least to most like.

I play with guides so if there isn't a recommended route order I go for the voice because I'm kind of a voice actor maniac(? In other cases I start with the route which seems more boring but in the end it's one of the best and the one which seems to be the most memorable it's just okay. The problem is when I love all the voice actors equally, after some good thinking I start with the most mean looking one because I like bad boys, I guess?
