I know this thread is mainly for MMDs, but the recent Fantia changes are affecting everyone, and we have quite a few insect fans here, so please hear me out.
If you have a Fanbox account, could you please go to Murahachiro's public post and kindly ask him to reduce the mosaic censoring to match Fanbox's actual rules? Right now he's planning to apply the same heavy Fantia-level censorship, which isn't necessary on Fanbox. If we don't convince him, all of his future work will likely carry the heavier Fantia-style censoring on Fanbox as well, even though it doesn't need to.

This would be catastrophic. I'm confident that if enough people politely reach out, we can convince him.

Edit: After double-checking to be sure; don't let yourself be confused by people like "@Mioxoxoxoxo". No new law or anything of the sort has been passed. The heavier censorship only applies to Fantia. No Japanese creator makes themselves liable to any punishment by following Fanbox's lighter rules (or those of similar platforms), as long as they still comply with the long-standing Japanese laws that have been in place for years.

It's genuinely laughable to see people shouting "Remove the censorship! Make the mosaics thinner!"—expecting Japanese creators to take the fall and face arrest just to feed their own sexual desires.
They say "Just move to FANBOX" or "It's safe to publish on Patreon," but changing platforms solves nothing. The risk of arrest remains wherever you go.
From here on out, creators on FANBOX and Patreon will definitely start blurring their work more heavily too. Any piece deemed to have too thin a mosaic will have to be wiped out entirely, leaving them with nothing to sell.

Edit: After looking it up once again I can say with confidence that you are just stating speculations to be an ass. The censorship only applies to Fantia and Fantia alone. No new law or anything like it.

It is pretty obvious that you just wanted to be an asshole about it, so I don't expect you to actually explain anything. But from what I've looked up, nothing indicates this is some new uniform law that the whole of Japan and every other site has to follow. As far as I know, Fanbox hasn't tightened its censorship requirements. Only Fantia changed their rules. If a Japanese creator like Murahachiro moves to Fanbox, which he did, he should only be bound by Fanbox's actual rules, not Fantia's stricter ones. I don't recall any broad legal change that suddenly made everything far stricter across the board.

FANBOX is bound to face the exact same fate sooner or later. Give it a year, two years... honestly, it'll probably happen as early as this year, without a doubt.

You are so full of shit. Literally just speculating and doom posting instead of actually acting and evaluating things based on what the law is right now. What a waste of time.

From an article about the new Fantia censorship changes, which highlights another possible reasons:
Why now? In an amazing development, on May 21st, just two days later, Fantia announced that they are releasing a major "Translation Update" to their website. This allows global fans to translate posts, plan descriptions, and product overviews with just a click of a button. Supporting languages are English, Chinese, and Korean.

The writing's on the wall. Fantia is opening up their market to an international audience, but in order to do so, they have to comply to strict censorship laws imposed by payment processing companies. And it is well known these companies have been tightening their hold on what can and cannot be purchased online in recent years.

I'll just ignore whatever drama is happening but looking at atya's new work the censorship is actually decent, maybe only for scenes with sex in it would it really be annoying. As i quote someone saying that they are seeing a 16x16 pixel minecraft steak in their screen instead.
Im just a lowly consumer pirating stuff so I cant really say anything but having to censor your work heavily after going through the trouble of making em would be really annoying. Thats just how the law is, until they change it for the better or worse.
Feels bad for works like muramura where theres alot of need for censorship which fills up the screen T-T. Feels like a must to save all of his works just cause its that good.
