What sort of otome game merchandise do you collect?

For me, I mainly focus on otome games' drama CDs and text-based contents like short story booklets and novels. (Any other tokuten booklet enthusiasts out there? There's a drama CD tokuten megathread in AS already but maybe, if there are enough of us, we can have a megathread to share our booklets too? 😂)

I used to have a machine to scan my booklets but for some reason, the machine stopped supporting scanning so I just use CamScanner on my phone to scan booklets, and it works pretty OK, but it is certainly more tiring since I have to properly position my hands and the booklet, as opposed to some relatively braindead scanning with a printer. 😂

For spin off CDs (like Blackish House's alone with U series), I sometimes also collect those one or two pages only short story bonus for characters I really like. 💸

I don't care as much for decorative merch, but they definitely are nice to stare at, and I think that's what most people collect? I'm always in awe when I see characters shrine made with love, haha.

Posting below a photo of some of my collections:

If otome merchandise were readily available anywhere else but online in my country, I'd be all over it. Whenever I happen to be in places that do sell them in droves though, I like getting otome merchandise that are wearable! Sometimes, I lose stickers and posters easily, so things like keychains and pins are the way to go. I even bought a RING for like 3000-6000 something yen in support of one of my favs in MLQC. My friend also got me Caleb's (LaDS) necklace, and I am way too attached to it.

Maybe it is a blessing in disguise otome merch is rare around my area... 🤣

P.S. Your collection looks amazing. I spot My9Swallows... I'M JEALOUSSS

I really like decorative merch, since I tend to get fixated on certain sprites or illustrations... Maybe it's my 2d idol fan past speaking😭 I love pretty badges and standees, also postcards, shikishi and all the other paper-cardboard stuff...! Other than that, I collect artbooks; sometimes I can get a cd or a magazine issue, maybe a novel, but it's a rare occasion...

I'm mainly interested in merch that I can use—clothing, accessories, and daily items. However, I love plushies, and I'll certainly buy them if I think they're cute enough. I'll argue that I can technically use those as parts of my outfit either by displaying them in a bag or attaching them directly to my clothes. Hell, even with full-size plushies, I can simply carry them as an accessory.

I do own quite a bit of decorative merch, but I've since reformed and sold stuff like badges because I'm not interested in making traditional itabags anymore. I've always been a hater of merch that is just the same official art PNG slapped onto everything so it was difficult curating these bags since a lot of the merch with nicer art came in blind boxes…

I'm a pretty big fan of physical media, and I love owning art books as well as CDs, but with so many things being released only digitally now… I miss being able to wait for something to show up for secondhand sale (;′⌒`)

I also have some small collectibles like posters, cards, keychains, and acrylic stands
I really love just sitting and looking at them because everything is so cute ✨

After a long time I've finally managed to get some virche pins and acrylics from mercari!
it was the best feeling ever, I thought there would be no way for me to buy stuff from Japan before ;w;
however, I may probably resort to doing my own merch myself at this point, bringing merch from mercari to my country lowkey costs like buying a full otome jfgdskhg
I can draw so that's a good thing :)
so far I got winter adolphe, valentines adolphe and japanese attire ankou!
I personally love pins and keychains for my bags, and stickers for my items (water bottles and my devices)
also love plushies, but the only official virche ones I know around are the small finger-sized virche nuis that are pretty hard to get 😅😅 now I need to learn how to make plushies dfgkjds

as a sidenote, I've seen the kissU merch for Ankou and Adolphe and I got interested 👀 I do wish I knew the contents of the messages ;w; I only found the one from Ankou's sweet version

I used to pre-order the store limited edition for games I think I will really like based on info released, so I can get the exclusive badges, standees, drama cds, booklets. But I stopped pre-ordering the set packages because I realized I kinda just stuff everything into drawers, and I am out of space for displaying decoration merchandise lol. Nowadays I usually only collect plushies and maybe artbooks if I really like the art.

I like to collect otome game merchandise, such as badges, standing cards, tape, and booklets. I usually buy limited edition game cartridges because they contain what I want and are very exquisite and worth collecting. I still have games that have not been unpacked yet, and they are all placed in dedicated display cabinets. Every time I see them, they are very pleasing to the eye!

But there are too many items in the collection, and many games and exquisite badges cannot be displayed, which feels quite regrettable. I really wish there was a room dedicated to showcasing these things, filled with my favorite otomegame. It's so happy!
