How often do you replay otome/BL games? If you do, do you only replay certain routes/parts or whole game?

I would rather start a new game than replay one. Plus, I have so many games on my to-play list so even if I wanted to replay a game I don't really have the time for it.

I never replay games I've completed. I find that when I replay a game, the scenes that had moved me during the first play through no longer have the same impact. The first time is always the most memorable one. I would like to keep those memories with me.

I sometimes replay the games i like after like a year of two of playing, and i mostly revisit the routes i like but sometimes i also gives the li i don't like before a try !

I replay only with my fav character, also sometimes i replay because the FD localized soon, so i replay so i can remember the story.

I usually finish all the game but sometimes im just not into a certain li and skip it if i can ( since sometimes you cant and need to play all the routes to get the secret/true one )

Very rare, the impact isn't the same anymore if I replay the whole game or route. The urge and thrill to uncover the whole plot and the relationships of the characters are basically my main motivation to complete them. I only replay specific intense/romantic scenes occasionally for the feels.

Not often. But if I do it,I will only replay certain routes I loved.

The amount of times I've replayed a VN is probably in the single digits. The ones I can think of being the various Hakuoki ports and Togainu no Chi + Dramatical Murder after they got official English releases. When I was a kid replaying stuff in general was more of a thing due to limited selection (and money). Nowadays, I treat all media I consume as one and done and even doing that I'll probably have a backlog a mile long on my deathbed lol

It honestly depends on whether It had an impact or I enjoyed it a lot. I like trying out a lot of otome games and currently I have the goal to try all the otome games for the switch now that I finally own one, so there's plenty I wouldn't really replay since I always replay the whole game and each route, I never just replay that one route I liked haha.

The one I do enjoy replaying every few years, is Hakuoki, I don't know, being one of the first otome games I played thanks to the psp emulator (Since I never owned one) it has a special place in my heart... and with the version that came out for the switch, it's better than ever xd Dramatical murder too and Our Life: Beginnings & Always are just the ones I always like coming back to every once in a while.

I'm not the type of person who replays games, but sometimes I go back and reread my favourite parts of certain routes

I only replay my absolute favorite otome/BL games—roughly once every three years.

Certain routes only for the most part, I try not to replay entire games unless it's been a while

I think I have played Hadaka Shitsuji at least 3 times... maybe up to 7 lmao. Sometimes I get tempted to play others for more than watching scenes but I never get around to it. 🙈

Not often. I usually play once and move to the next game. If a route is really good, maybe I'll replay just that part.

I replay them all the time, I always end up forgetting details and go back until I'm able to grasp it well enough to remember.
If I'm too lazy I just go back and replay certain character routes >_<

As for games I'd replay, there are definitely a few. Back then, I didn't understand the language very well and relied heavily on translation tools. Even now, I still get confused sometimes, so I mostly focused on collecting CGs rather than fully understanding the story.

Some of the games I'd like to replay are Sweet Pool, Lucky Dog, and several others. For example, in Sweet Pool, I'd love to replay Okinaga Zenya's route because I want to learn more about his story and the details surrounding his character.
