Is it possible to play Taisho x Alice in English on the Nintendo Switch?

I just finished replaying Hakuoki and Neon Clash, and now I've picked up Café Enchanteé and Taisho x Alice All in One to play now. I tried to open Taisho x Alice, but it's in Japanese even though I have English Text mode installed :( Does anyone know if I did something wrong that's causing it not to work, or if it's simply not possible to play it in English on the Switch?

The title changed and is now in English, but the game is still in Japanese ʕ⁠´⁠•⁠ ⁠ᴥ⁠•̥⁠`⁠ʔ I give up, I guess we weren't meant to be lol I've been at this for a long time and it's not going anywhere

Have you checked the options after updating as well? I'd also try to reboot the console! Taisho x Alice English patch is quite troublesome :cry:

I checked the options in the game menu, but the only way to add the English version was to buy it? At least that's what I understood with my broken Japanese, haha. I guess there's no way to play it in English, unfortunately... but anyway, thanks for trying to help!(⁠☞ﾟ⁠∀ﾟ⁠)⁠☞

I think you can only enable English text manually inside the game's options.
It doesn't switch to English on its own after downloading English Text add-on.
If you have that add-on you don't need to buy anything else.

It's exactly as you said. I was completely confused and downloading without the English text add-on or making mistakes when changing the language inside the game, which is why it wasn't working at the time XD Luckily, Fra4pp3cinn helped me and I was able to play ^^ Thank you for replying and helping (⁠☞ﾟ⁠∀ﾟ⁠)⁠☞

Yes you can ! You needa select the language tho so go on ur settings and in the language pick english ! I played it on PC since i bought it on steam but on the description of the switch version it does say the game is in Japanese AND english !
