I am playing Steam Prison, the Grand Route ending (haven't played Fin's route DLCs yet), but I can't wait to hear your opinion on your favorite LI(s) from the game. I played the game with the recommended order, which is Eltcreed → Ulrik → Adage → Ines → Yune → (Fin) → Grand ending.
Let's talk about each character:

1) Eltcreed: I like him as a character, not as a LI, especially with Cyrus due to the inadequate experiences between them. His route is... bad in my opinion, but I like his appearances in others' routes a lot, he's a trustworthy man, I believe, and I love his banter with Ulrik, their dynamics are even better than his relationship with Cyrus, c'mon…

2) Ulrik: the typical tsundere, and I love tsundere in general, so I love him for sure. His route is overall better than Elt's. I like how the tension built, but Ulrik-kun here definitely has some dumb shit moments, made me as a reader, want to punch him sometimes. Other than that, the chemistry with Cyrus is great, I love how their relationship turns out to be like some chicken love story lol (they're both teenagers, of course)

3) Adage: I am working in the medical field myself, so I feel quite relatable to him. His route is the worst in the character development for Cyrus, but the story and his character are charming enough that it made his route very enjoyable. Also, the best ending here sucks, if you know what I mean

4) Ines: the best Hubby material man here, not just in this game but in the whole otome genre, I think. His route is lovely, romantic, and I like him as a LI with Cyrus; they both have similar traits, and the emotional support between them is healthy, balanced, and realistic to some point.

5) Yune: The oldest priest is also the most childish one in the cast. His route is… weird in some aspect, but I enjoy it regardless. It has a different setting from other routes, which is a plus point. I like how Cyrus behaves in this route the most, too, perhaps the most interesting Cyrus I have seen. Applause for Yune to bring out the best version of Cyrus, I really love the bad endings of them, so bittersweet, tragic, but memorable at the same time.

6) Fin: haven't played Fin DLC yet, but I think I might love him the most after I read though, poor guy just want to love and beloved by his partner :alice_cry:

So in conclusion, my love for the character at the moment: Ines > Fin > Eltcreed > Adage > Ulrik > Yune
Route wise: Ulrik > Ines > Yune > Adage > Eltcreed.

My favourite was Fin, hands down. He was such a precious boy (except in some of the bad ends where he behaved more questionably 😅, but I shall take his own route as the basis for my love)!

Sorry I haven't gotten this game yet but I do have a question, how long does it take to finish one route? I heard this game was incredibly long but I am interested in playing it!

According to otome kitten's review (https://otomekitten.com/2021/04/26/steam-prison-review-nintendo-switch/), it took her 50~60 hours for the game but she played on auto mode if I'm not wrong.
I definitely spent way less time but sadly it's been a while so I don't recall the exact hours for each route... Maybe around 4~5 hours? I don't recall it being a long game for instance. (But I think I also finish games faster than most people, to give some context.)

I am super slow in finish otome game myself, this one take me about a year of playing with longggg rest in between 😅 but if I really dedicate to immerse, it take me 2-3 days to finish one route, with approximately 2hrs playing time per day :akazukin_dash:

fin was my favorite character but i thought his route was badly written and was disappointed with it. eltcreed is my other favorite and my favorite route
 
I haven't completed all the routes in the game yet, still needing to do Adage, Yune, and Fin, but Ines is my favourite so far! I think that Adage might become might favourite if I played it, because his personality in his other routes intrigues me, but I can't say it until I play it! Second would be Ulrik, because I found some of his route to be good, and I generally like tsunderes. I did not really like Eltcreed, with his flirting. I just tend not to like the flirty LIs in general, unless they are himbos as well, and he was not. I'm interested in Fins route, too, because of how he behaves in other routes, but I have heard that his personality is different in his own route, because he did not go through trauma so he's less of a yandere which was part of the attraction to me. I don't know how true that is, though!
 
@icterine @Yuunari Thank you both for the feedback! Oof, knowing how long I take to finish my games this is going to last me a few years to finish haha. But I'll push through, I remember hearing a bit about it and it got me so interested!

I love Yune. His happy ends was quite unique. At one point, it even made me doubt that I had chosen the bad options and was headed towards a bad ends.:akazukin_down:

I love Yune too. I love how he can be so mature at some points and childish just the moment after 😅 The best ending of him, in my opinion, is kinda rushed (with the Cyrus part). But I love how it turned out ❤️
By the way the grand ending is kinda sad for him, to continue to be immortal and be a saint which just a facade that he wanna get rid of. I want to think the key hole part in his best ending still happen offscreen some time in the future, with Yune and Ulrik now meeting often due to the circumstances. I just don't wanna see him suffer anymore, everyone got their happy end in the grand final but not Yune, why the poor baby he is the one who got it worst :alice_down:
 
Well I'm back after finished Fin's route and all the extra content ^^
While I still love him, his route is kinda disappointed to me.
It's incredibly short, there's not much happens, and both Fin and Sachs are pretty tamed compare to the original game. I want to see him go to break down phase and somehow redeemed by meeting and being in love with Cyrus. The route is fine for anyone who love fluffs and lovey dovey with the sweet boi Fin, but the angst lover in me did not satisfy with those oh no :alice_dont:

There is one "Sach's ending" in Fin's route... First time in the game he kiss Cyrus, though in a very abusive way, is kinda interesting to me :LOL: I'm sure I'm Ines girl all the way but it's always fun to see the interactive between Cyrus and Sachs, cause they fit the "enemy to lover" trope the best :coffee:

So in the time being, my favorite character is: Ines > Yune > Eltcreed > Adage > Fin > Ulrik
Route wise: Ulrik > Ines > Yune > Adage > Fin > Eltcreed
