I agree ! I was so desprate for shibusawa to have a proper route i made a fanfiction about souta and shibusawa :') I wished togomito sensei made a FD for Kanja S but unfortunately i think he had moved on from Kanja S...that's one of the few games i enjoyed all lis except for haruki since im not into barely legal lis but if i had to rank i'd say shibusawa(his relationship with the mc is very underrated he deserved a proper route) and yasuda are pretty equal then minagawa
so far i've played:
no thank you, all mada labo games, omega vampire, room no. 9(only one end i'll come back to it eventually), kamisama kari, beyond eden, beyond eden dear edward, seiyuu danshi(toshiyuki only), uchi papa, sleepover rewake, absolute obedience(only two routes deep so far) and i started mitsuiro no yuki but got distracted i'll come back to it eventually maybe. i also played one route of masquerade and phantom thief jade but dropped cause they pmo. my next game will either be ore no shita de agake, shuugyou ryokou, shingakkou or nonke ippatsu tabehoudai i haven't decided yet. if you have any top/vers mc recs preferably younger shorter top bonus if there's a uke with glasses i would greatly appreciate it
Have you played lkyt ? There is no uke with glasses unfortunately but tasuku and ango route is recomended ! OH and also, what do you think about the new game, Chuki chuki eroriman?

i've been in such a big souta x shibusawa mood recently if you have your fanfic posted anywhere i would love to read! there's so much going on with them with shibusawa having remembered everything the whole time i need them to kiss so bad. i have lkyt downloaded but haven't started yet i definitely will eventually.
tbh i was a bit disappointed with chuki chuki eroriman with how long it has been in development i expected it to be longer and im not big on games with no choices. the uke was sexy i liked his personality but the game is so nothing burger to me i can't even remember his name. also it's pretty funny how togo mito promoted the game as more romantic/tamer just for every scene except the last to be non/dubcon with barely any romance
he's truly a interesting guy lol. not the worst thing i've played but feels underwhelming to me compared to the other games

I understand cuz i think some aspect of the game can be offputting to the point i need to take a break here and there while playing... I hope you can finish it soon ! The good news is, if you want to follow more about hadaka after finishing the game, Hadaka shitsuji FD and prequel will be released in english on June 11 by mangagamer !

AND OH FINALLY SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY DISSAPOINTED WITH CHUKIERO ! My friends from JP and KR all seems to be loving the game and all i can feel while playing the game is bamboozled and disappointed :') also i agree, because the game is literally linear with no choices at this point i feel like it's just better to watch the video ver...
And yeah i feel bamboozled due to it's marketed as more romantic/tamer, if the game is marketed not as such maybe i won't really be as dissatisfied as i am rn....The romantic aspect is so rushed in chapter 5, after what happened in chapter 4 i'm getting whiplash...
Also yeah it's not the worst thing i play per se, but it's not really having a lasting impact on me unlike Kanja S or Hadaka...

Okay, I'll definitely finish it. The top MC game I've been playing recently is Ooe. I don't know if you've played it? For certain reasons, the protagonist is a bit of a sadist, though you wouldn't know it at first glance. You'd think his personality was more straightforward and reserved, but he actually has psychological trauma. I really like the protagonist of this game, and the variety of romanceable characters is great too. There's an older guy, a younger boy, and someone the same age as the MC. As for their personalities, there's a cold guy with glasses, a tsundere with heterochromia, and even a seductive bottom.

feels like a waste of a decent uke and good voice actors to me but it's whatever i will replay the uncensored version to get the full perverted experience. the romance was so bad which was really disappointing cause i feel like togo mito based on my experience with kyouichi's route in hadaka shitsuji fd could 100% write a good romance but he's just too much of a pervert to actually write it ig

I don't regret buying the game but it does sucks waiting for the game to drop on midnight only to be dissapointed by it when i actually played it...i'll definitely read tonight thank you! and yeah i didn't want to be too mean in my review but im glad i didn't buy the game myself

i mean i love hirarin voice due to shibusawa's influence and i think his moan in chukiero sounds more natural then when he plays shibusawa (shibusawa always sounded like he's in pain and holding back in the game imo :') ), Fukujun voice also is heavenly i can see ryuusei actually being a popular guy due to his sweet voice and his face... but the story is as you said, nothing burgeri agree, togomito can write a good romance, i remember crying on haruki's route and afterstory as for hadaka fd i only played the yara side so uhh... idk about the romance part

My favorite is Shizuma. His story was easier for me to empathize with, and he always manages to get under Oosaki's skin. I feel that when he's with Shizuma, Oosaki acts more like the age he really is, which fills in the gaps of his unhappy childhood. It's kind of healing, maybe?(*´∀`*)✧
Shiodome is also very cute, especially his spiral eyes that left a strong impression on me. He has that wild, innocent quality.
As for Funeno's route, I think it's the funniest one. The harem drama is pretty entertaining. But just looking at his individual route, it's still a bit of a shame because it's not 1 on 1.

I usually prefer a bottom MC simply because I think bottoms are pretty, and with BL I tend to get more attached to the MC than the LIs, but I'm ok with top and switch too. Some of my favourite BLs actually have a top MC, like Ooe and Lesson (ʘᴗʘ✿)

I was surprised to hear that your first BL game was Hadaka Shitsuji. I didn't know what kind of stories I liked at first, so I tried out a bunch of different titles before stumbling upon that game by chance. The plot was pretty intense and memorable, so I still remember it even now. I thought all the characters were charming, but I think it's a bit too intense to be a first game. Still, I'm glad you enjoyed playing it.

yeah i waited two years for that game so it's pretty disappointing. i teared up on haruki's route too even with me not liking him it really was a great game. kyouichi's route in the fd is sooo cute he's so new to romance his awkwardness is adorable and i loved being able to see what goes on inside his mind since it's from his pov highly recommend playing it. kyouichi and aoi from omega vampire are my fav bl characters ever im looking forward to the fd's official translation next monthI don't regret buying the game but it does sucks waiting for the game to drop on midnight only to be dissapointed by it when i actually played it...

Based taste tbh, my first fav from BLVN is sakuma as well ! oh i absolutely adore aoi he's so moe even while being a evil little bastard he's very entertaining to watch cause he has so many different sides of himself usually with characters that have "gaps" in their personality they just go from 1 to 2 but aoi can go from being the cutest guy you've ever seen to world's biggest asshole to perverted stalker to crazy mad scientist all in one scene and all sides of him are directed towards the mc. keiichi x aoi is actually my favorite ship from any vn not just bl i love their codependency and how much they love each other regardless of which route you play. i will say that outside of keiichi and aoi i didn't find the other routes that enjoyable i could maybe just be biased with my love for aoi but every other romance felt underdeveloped/underwhelming compared to aoi keiichi and aoi are really soulmates in the most devastating way. aoi gets a lot of love from me for being a stalker and lowkey highkey abusive while also being the uke i wish there were more ukes like him. aoi's voice is also the best i've ever heard he has an amazing range and is very cute in bed. i have his drama cd and another non omega vampire blcd from his voice actor i could share if you're interested. as for omerta i also have that downloaded and will play eventually for ugajin

I like switch MC! Preferably when it's reversible like in Shingakkou and Kichiku Megane where you can decide if you want to top or bottom, just to see which dynamic I like better with the LIs. But I'm not complaining if the MC is set to top or bottom either as long as it fits the character

If you asked me why I chose my first BL game, I also don't remember anymore
I think my first title was probably Shingakkou. It's hard to pick a single favorite game, but if I had to name one that comes to mind, it might be Nie no Machi. I tend to be drawn to games that leave a lasting impression right after I finish playing them, so my favorite games tend to change quite often.

Im really biased cuz the only bl games i played had bottom character so ill sat bottom, BUT i think that a Top character could be really interesting to follow !

I used to only like bottom MCs. Recently, I've become interested in top MCs too. But for some reason, I'm not really into switch MCs. If a game gives me a choice, I usually stick to one role. I've also recently gotten into stories involving service tops and power bottoms.

I prefer top MC because I like dominant protagonists. But if a game is good enough, I'm totally down to try other stuff, partly because top MCs are pretty rare anyway.
