Which route do you usually go for first in a visual novel the good ending or the bad ending?

i always go for the good ending first then get the bad ending of that route before going to another character. i like going through the happy ending first just so i can see how everything works out in the end. i also pretty much always uses guides cus i dont wanna be stumbling around getting bad endings or neutral endings first, or even those like mini bad endings. but sometimes i do go in blind but thats just cus im too lazy to pull up the guide haha
 
I usually prioritize the fun of not knowing what's going to happen next, no matter which ending I end up getting first.
I'll keep playing until I reach the good ending, but if there are still bad endings left, I'll usually go back and collect those too.

I want to experience the romance and satisfying conclusion without heartbreak right away.
Getting the sad or tragic ending first would just make me feel depressed and less motivated to keep playing 😅
 
I first play blind and once Im familiar with the route structure. I try to clear the bad ending before the good. Im the type to save the good for last. I dunno, I feel doing bad endings after good ending kills my motivation to finish LI routes. Depending some games especially darker theme one, bad endings seem more fun and memorable than good endings.
 
Bad ending first, I don't like to leave off my otomes in such a sour end. ):
 
i usually play the good ending first, my heart can't take doing the tragedy/bad ending first lol. Need to experience the good feels before the bad ones. Knowing their happy end first gives me a peace of mind that after all the pain they went through they're going to be this happy? idk if that makes sense. Then i try to play the bad endings after for funsies or to find more info about the story/character
 
I don't play the sad endings ever really, can't mentally handle them and usually just find a walkthrough to get the happy ending
 
I usually play the good ending route first. That means getting to know the characters from their best side, seeing how the heroine goes through the process of reaching a good ending with them and finding happiness. Then later I go back to see what small differences in choices led to the bad ending and how the characters became rotten and dark.
 
Bad endings take priority! Seeing the good ending feels more satisfying to me after I see everything go wrong beforehand. Also, since routes leading up to the good ending are often a bit longer, I guess it makes more sense to me to finish the shorter bits first.
 
I like going for the joke bad endings first! It's fun picking choices that obviously will go wrong and watching the chaos unfold.
But for the serious bad endings, I can only read after getting the happy ending first. It's nice to think of a happy end as the "real" ending, and the bad ending as an alternate "what-if" scenario.
 
I like to start with the bad endings first to see how much they suffer and how obsessed they are with the MC. It's interesting to see the depth of their attachment
 
I will try to get a good ending first before collecting a bad ending. SInce it is a first time to play, I want the best because I really put the effort to play it. And I'm a type of guy who save frequently. I would be easier to collect a bad one on second time and after.
 
Good ending. I usually don't play bad endings. Some are too depressing for me 🫠🤣
 
Whenever I get into a character's route, I always play blind first without any guide while aiming to get the good ending, and obviously I will accidentally pick the wrong choices here and there and get the bad ending instead
 
I usually go directly to the happy ending without guide lol (i like the sensation of ''conquering'' LIs)
And then recollect all the endings to complete 100% CG :akazukin_evillaugh:
 
Go for the good endings first. Especially since some hidden characters only unlock after you've collected the good endings for the others.

Usually, I play the good ending first and then continue to collect all the bad ending, but most likely I will replay the good ending again after that 😭😭
 
Soooo, I almost never read walkthroughs, so it's pretty much random :D
But if I do, I go through the bad endings and dead ends first, and save the real ending for last.
 
The grand, complete happy ending is the ultimate ideal ✨

As someone generally dislike watching LIs and MC getting hurt, whenever I occasionally have to collect Bad Ends to unlock hidden route, I usually end up half-crying while covering my eyes and forcing myself to finish them. 😭😭lolol

Bad endings first! If the good version is the truer end, I want to see it last so I remember it the best hopefully.
