Do people use light or dark mode on AS

Most of the time dark, I set it on light mode a couple of times to match my light theme in my browser.
Why did I set the browser to light ? because I was ricing my system to look like vanilla Windows 7 so I set the whole desktop environment on light mode, I kept it like that for a week since light themes make me feel like my eyes are burning

Why do you use it? In my case, it's too bright due to my sensitivity it's the same for me on other sites.
I use light mode on websites where I expect to read a significant amount of text because I find black text on a white background clearer and easier to read. To reduce glare, I lower my monitor's brightness and contrast as much as possible and use night light mode as well. Also, when I used dark mode on this website, I sometimes came across dark text or images that were kind of hard to distinguish against the background.

Dark mode = easy on my eyes.. and I just find it more pleasant visual wise.

I use dark mode on AS, I find it hard to go back to light mode after using dark mode. My eyes have already adjusted so if I go back to light mode, everything looks really bright.

I use light mode. I just cant see well in dark mode. I never lean on dark mode on all apps including Photoshop.

I use dark mode on as many sites as possible, not just AS.
Since dark mode is much easier on the eyes, light-themed sites feel glaring to me.

I use light mode cause when I first registered light mode was the default theme so I just got used to it

I use a dark mode on AS and other websites whenever available, because it's the only way to keep my eyes from getting strained. and I don't like the light mode

I use dark mode too — not just on AS, but pretty much everywhere
I don't really like bright screens, so I tend to make everything dark.

Dark colors are easier on the eyes.
I'm the opposite - white text on dark background makes me squint and strains my eyes. And perhaps it's my pattern recognition not being up to date, but I've always associated black backgrounds with porn/dodgy sites, subconsciously.

I guess it's because I often use my computer in the dark.

Interesting, I sort of think black backgrounds associate with reverse engineering/modding forums mostly.
