Who else miss the old/veteran seiyuus in otome games ?

There are a lot of older seiyuu I miss seeing around, they're not in as many things anymore but when I do see them I play/watch what they're in. I also enjoy having a mix of older ones I like + some new ones tho.

MEEEEEEEEE!!!! But i remember watching an interview where these veterans voice actors said that they prefer not accept otome games voice works, because for otome games and drama CDs, they usually record alone, line by line. That can feel less "alive" and harder to act naturally, especially for veterans who enjoy real-time acting chemistry.

And also because some drama CDs (especially certain subgenres) include: very close, whispering mic techniques, suggestive or intimate dialogue, and not every voice actor is comfortable with that, especially those who prefer more neutral or story-driven roles.

The veteran seiyuus have such distinct voices, while I often find it hard to tell the newcomers apart.

I'm not particularly a VA fan, but even I start to notice the same voices being repeated and it's hard to fully immerse myself in the story when the voices remind me of other characters. Actually, I would also like to hear more distinct voices from newer people in the industry.

Hard agree with everyone saying Ishida Akira!! I also miss sugita tomokazu voiced characters (*cough* Nightmare from the heart no kuni no alice series). I got into otome games during the 2010s and miss the seiyuus of those times. In fact, I would say that otome games partly what got me into the seiyuu fandom😆. I used to watched otomate party and have a blast watching veterans like suzumura kenichi, toriumi kousuke, kaji yuuki, shimono hiro and more.

Kenjiro Tsuda feels more like an actor than a voice actor these days, doesn't he? I'm really looking forward to *The Prince of Tennis* because I'm happy to hear Eiji Takemoto's voice.
Yes, I really love his voice, and I'm looking forward to this game as well!

Irino Miyu, his voice is very gentle. After Kamigami no Asobi, he rarely appear at otome games.I really miss his voice.

I like Koji Yusa, but it's a shame that he's been appearing less frequently in otome games lately, and even in anime. In otome games, especially at Otomate, the same voice actors keep appearing...😥

I really like KENN / miyano mamoru / Uchida Yuma / Umehara yuichiro / ono kensho / kimura ryohei / masuda toshiki 🥰😍

Hoshi Souichirou!!!
When I first played Starry☆Sky, I liked his voice, but it seems like he has already semi-retired from the voice acting circle. Recently, I heard that he is producing a female-oriented game as a supervisor

I like Kazuya Nakai.
I especially like characters like Gray from Alice series(QuinRose).
