Which otome game have you started and never finished?

Many years ago I played the mobile version of Amnesia, and unfortunately I didn't like Kent at all so I never finished his route and thus didn't do Ukyo's route either 😅 don't really feel like replaying the game though

Taisho x Alice, Hana Awase and Even if Tempest. I really tried to like them because of all the hype but I couldn't get into them either because I didn't like the MCs or because the story didn't do it for me.

Hana Awase.
I used to play the PC version. However, it took four years for the Iroha chapter to be released, so I lost interest.

I have a ton I have started but haven't finished, not because I don't want to, but sometimes I get distracted, then I never actually get around to finishing the game, or maybe I want to start something new. I haven't finished Mistonia or Temirana yet, but I will get around to it some day!

This is partly my speculation, but part of Iroha clearly had quite a few problems before they finished it? At least that's the impression I get. I've played all the games except Iroha's yet, also because of the delay in their release. Part of it is even the only one that doesn't have a drama CD or other extras that the others had. The Switch port they made also removed all the songs sung by the voice actors; nothing against the music in the Switch version, it's beautiful, but having played the original made it much more special to me. One day I'll get around to finishing Iroha's part; he just suffers in every game, poor guy.

I dropped tons of games but the one I remember the most was 7Scarlet. I played the game a few times and kept getting the bad endings because I didn't really care much for the first two LI/route, so I went and googled how to get specific character route I wanted only to realize I had to play a few other characters and the MC was sorta annoying

I see that happened.
I had been away from HanaAwase, so I did not know.
Iroha is truly a pitiful man.

I have a bunch of unfinished otome, though most I didn't mean to drop but more like accidentally ignored because life got in the way and I haven't come back to it again. But one that I don't think I will pick up again is Ayakashi Gohan. The art is super pretty and really nostalgic because the artist worked for Starry Sky (I have a soft spot for that series) but the pace is super slow to me and I get impatient :/

I haven't been able to finish most of the games I've played recently.

Most of the routes in "Fuyuzono Sacrifice" weren't interesting at all—it was a real chore.

Probably Meiji Katsugeki Haikara Ryuseigumi.
I normally finish every route in Otomate games, but this is the only one I couldn't get through, so it left an impression.
I liked the art and music (the art especially was gorgeous), but the story just didn't click with me.

Some of them I just try a bit at the beginning and lose interest or ones that I intend to go back to eventually, I don't count those. But there are ones where I tried wholeheartedly to make it through but abandon it entirely with no intention of trying to pick it up again. For example, I couldn't keep on goinbg in Olympia Soiree. It feels blasphemous because it seems like such a loved title, but neither the plot, mystery, nor characters drew me in.

I was playing lover pretend but had to a take a break and haven't opened the game since (3 years) I liked it thought

Nightshade (Hyakka Hyakurou) www

I hadn't played it again for over six years after finishing Chojiro's route because I wasn't familiar with angst back then. But in 2025, I started playing it again, and now I only have two routes left.

I never finished sympathy kiss because of kobase, i rolled my eyes everytime he started talking about how "mc shouldn't be alone with a man", i just found it so patronizing that it pissed me off

A while back, when Radiant Tale had come out, I was very excited to play it! But, surprisingly I don't know if I was just not in the mood for it.. or if it was something else but I couldn't even get through my first route..

Probably will at least finish one route, fast forward or just clicking around. Even if the plot is bad, at least I'll see the ending, but not complete all the routes.

For me it's TMGS games, because after multiple playthroughs the game feels repetitive, I have a bunch of routes still not cleared.

For me it's 7'scarlet, the story is okay but I didn't like MC, and the art style is kinda... weird with drawing the eyes...? MC kinda look like a doll with no expression in both the sprite and the CGs. That said... I might pick them up after I finish Steam prison, Cafe enchante and CxM unlimited (quite a list of them I guess, but I will try to 🤘

Amnesia. I liked the art style and the overall plot (I was already somewhat familiar with it from the anime), but the game was so boring that I couldn't stick with it... BUT maybe I'll come back to it someday, once I've forgotten about it :)

Nil Admirari no Tenbin.
The picture is pretty, but I couldn't do all clear because I kept falling asleep.
I want to do all clear someday.
