Thank you for posting this! I always get stuck at some point and need a guide lol.Hello everyone, i'm the kind of person who never completes a VN without a walkthrough.First of all, and to help with search, I'd like to provide a link to the:
So I decided to create this thread as a reminder and to help people find walkthroughs for their games. I hope this will be useful to someone.
VNDBor Visual Novel Database. This site will be useful if you need to find the original Japanese title of your visual novel to search for walkthroughs on Japanese websites. (In general, I recommend looking for walkthroughs using the original Japanese names.)
________________
I'd probably like to start with a site that's probably well-known:
It's a Japanese site with a huge number of walkthroughs for both Otome and BL visual novels. The site has been around for many years and is stable. (Since it's a Japanese site, to find a walkthrough for a game, you'll need its original Japanese name, which is where VNDB comes in. Simply copy the name from VNDB, go to Halfadder, and paste the Japanese name into the search bar at the very bottom of the site.)
Also this site:
(It's very similar to Half-adder, but there are fewer games and there's no search bar on this site, so you'll have to search for the title by category. However, this site isn't completely useless, as it does offer some walkthroughs for less popular games.)
No.1Only Otome walkthrough site
This is a site with a gazillion otome game walkthroughs. (Again, the site is Japanese, so you'll have to search for your game by its Japanese name.)
No.2
While this site mixes walkthroughs of both otome and hentai games, with the hentai being the most prominent, but you can still find guides for rare otome on this site. (This site also contains questionable hentai ad, so I recommend using Adblock.)
No.1Only BL walkthrough site
A must-have. The site is in English and Japanese, which is very convenient for me personally. Besides the rarest ones, it has a ton of walkthroughs for BL novels.
No.2
Not really a website, but more of a blog featuring personal walkthroughs. It's also very useful, but the first site has the same stuff. Still, some people might prefer this format, so I'll leave the link. The blog is also in English.
_______________
Well, these are all the websites I used when searching for walkthroughs myself. I used these sites for most of my games, but for those rare and unpopular games, I recommend searching Google using the following phrase:
"Original Japanese title name" 攻略Yes, this might be obvious for someone, but someone is not all people so i'll leave it here anyway.

That's all I wanted to say. If you have any useful walkthrough sites or your own search methods, please share in the comments.![]()
I hope future otome games will have useful websites like this too. As for the checkmark system, Koilog can already do something similar. Since it's still a new website, users have to enter everything manually for now. Thanks for the walkthrough sites! I really hope one day someone comes up with a site like Seiya-seiga (Only for galge/eroge)... Its so useful to have a checkmark system like this:
