Which Otome/BL has made you laugh the hardest?

ive realized i need to play more comedic or silly titles !! ofc what others might funny might just come across as childish to others but im someone who's very easily amused so i'd love to hear what games have been instant mood boosters whether that be because of the dialogue or the character dynamics ^^

for me the games that made me laugh the hardest have been glass heart princess and variable barricade :D i love boyfailure shenanigans and the sheer stupidity with which every li in those games operated <3 varibari had a lot of heavy moments too but i think overall the sillier parts of it are much more memorable to me ^^

when it comes to any characters that made me laugh the most the #1 spot goes to alice from taisho x alice .... i think i can make a gallery of every unhinged line he has from the main episodes and the fd ^^ second to that strangely it might be iroha from hana awase ??? i dont know what it is about him ??? his inability to act normal made me giggle lots and honestly i think that was one of the main reasons i actually really enjoyed iroha hen compared to how most people feel about that volume

The game that made me laugh the most is Kusunoki Yashiki no Monogatari. I don't have any specific scenes in mind right now, but I do remember laughing a lot while playing it.

I think for me, it's Cupid Parasite and its fandisc. my favorite scene is in Shelby's route in Cupid Parasite -Sweet & Spicy Darling. I never thought "that" would happen

Quite a lot, actually. Love revo, Glassheart Princess, but most of all - Desert Kingdom. MC panicing when vn turned into an rpg and everybody suddenly had stats and levels and nobody could understand what is going on; one of the LI's constantly speaking very broken English and many more.

Yo-Jin-Bo had me laughing a lot back when I played it, especially with the old media jokes and breaking the 4th wall. Though now I think it may be considered a bit "outdated" for newer fans >.<

For me, it was Shinobi Koi Utsutsu; the whole game is hilarious with that mero mero no jutsu that the protagonist can't control XD The Kamakiyo and Gaaraiya routes were the most hilarious for me.

The Dot Kareshi games! Every single character is a complete weirdo. Expect the average Rejet dirty jokes and crazy characters, if you like JRPGs it has some jokes about that as well!

I agree with all the games mentioned, but I'm suprised no one has mentioned Storm Lover Kai yet! That game had me laughing all throughout my playthroughs. Not because of the funny moments (And there ARE plently, I laughed out loud many times playing) But because one playthrough is sooo long that I keep switching between the guys and it's lowkey the funniest thing ever. They keep confessing to MC, and who am I to say no? ;) So many awkward birthdays, christmas, valentines, so on and so forth of love triangles galore. All the guys fight and glare at each other, not even trying to blame the wishy washy MC haha!

Otome games that I found hilarious overall are Gakuen Tokkyuu Hotokenser, Brocon, Ozmafia, Storm Lover Kai, Dot Kareshi, Princess Nightmare, Tenipuri (doubles and gakupuri), Love Revo, Yo-Jin-Bo, and Fashioning Little Miss Lonesome

And for characters/routes that I found really funny even though their game isn't necessarily comedy: Adage from Steam Prison, Brian from The Bell Chimes for Gold, and Laurier from Nekopara

omg same. varriable barricade had me laughing a lot, especially with the little chibi scenes there were. taisho x alice was also very funny with how the dialogue was. i was taking screenshots to send to friends every minute, it was very unhinged

I recently replayed Yo-Jin-Bo, and I totally forgot how funny it was! It was all so ridiculous and hilarious. Poor Mon-Mon. There was a scene in it where Murasame was trying to impress the MC by getting Jin to tell her he had money, so Jin said he collected pennies lol

The heroine of the "No Feeding" series in this club is very interesting. She is good at teasing. When playing the games of this club, I like to watch the heroine tease the most.

I remember laughing a ton on any games that Quinrose made (RIP Quinrose (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) )
I do love how they design characters personality / growth and how they bounce back in conversation really is entertaining for me..
Otomate did revive some of the most popular games (alice series) but please don't flame me, it just hits dif, the convo feels slightly different now :(

alice from taisho x alice has made me laugh audibly, i've seen some people not like the localisation which is fine! but imo the localisation really was able to capture just how unhinged both alice and yurika are perfectly. karekurenai from hana awase too, everytime he was on screen i was having so much fun, he's my favourite scumbag ever <3

also special mention to cupid parasite, especially the common route. it's so unserious

For some reason, Omerta Chinmoku no Okite. JJ, the protagonist, is such a mood. He's a kuudere hitman and his every interaction turns hilarious.

Seconding Omega Vampire. There's a weird mix of intentional comedy writing and unintentionally hilarious plot points. Some of the funniest stuff I've read in a long time. I liked vns like Hotokenser, Ozmafia, and Variable Barricade, but those all got a smile out of me rather than actual laughter. I'm usually not too affected by comedy writing in fiction.
