In my first playthorugh I'll always go after the character who catches my attention first but afterwards if theres a specific recommended order I might follow it.
 
I usually follow the recommended route order, since some routes might reveal important story twists. Letting the story progress naturally is just how I like to play. If there's no recommended order, I'll still save my favorite character for last — a little "suffer first, enjoy later" kind of thing~
But speaking of that, most of my favorite characters end up being locked routes... which is honestly kind of a bummer.
 
Hopefully, when the routes aren't locked, I will go for the LIs I am most interested in, and then the ones I am least interested in, based on their appearance and how I feel when I look at them. If I fail to get the characters I want, I will start over. Sometimes this order can change because I get a better idea of what the LIs are like as I play. If I can't decide, I let fate do it for me .
 
I try to follow the recommendations because I'm afraid that certain routes might be full of spoilers right from the start, but if there are a few character options with lighter storylines that can be played from the beginning, I'll choose the one that interests me.
 
我不按推荐路线顺序玩。我会先玩我喜欢的角色。不然的话，按顺序玩很容易让我感到无聊，甚至可能还没玩到我喜欢的角色就放弃了。而且，第一条路线通常写得不太好，后面的路线角色塑造往往更出色。
 
I didn't play all routes only the one catch my interest, except for secret character, ill play everyone but with skip forward function
 
I want to enjoy the story thoroughly, so I will play in the recommended order. I think that way I can better enjoy the characters I like.
 
I try to do recommended order as much as I can, but if I really don't like a character, I'd rather skip
 
I usually follow the recommended order but sometimes if the order is not that important or there isn't one I start with whoever I'm the most interested in
 
IF there is a clear play order i stick to it. If there is NOT - i always start with the least interesting routes (to me ofc) and work my way up to the most interesting ones. Just so i stay engaged throughout :giggle:
 
Before I start playing, I don't want to spoil the surprise for myself, so I don't even look up information about the characters. Let alone the order in which to complete the routes...
About halfway through the game, I check what's left to discover and then decide what to do next.
 
I look up the recommended order just to make sure the route I want to start with doesn't have any major end-game plot revelations, but other than that, I simply choose the route of whoever seems more interesting lol

I usually go for the one who caught my eye but when I see that there are heavy spoilers on some routes(because I follow walkthtroughs usually) I go for the recommended order
 
Usually recommended order, but that's because I'm used to reading some general vns that need to be read in a very specific order or else things aren't going to make much sense lol
 
I really follow the story closely, but if I really like a character's personality, my heart becomes blind to others, and I drop everything to complete that route. But to avoid spoiling it, before closing the game, once I've finished it, I rewatch the best moments. I almost always avoid playing the route that catches my eye for fear that once I finish it, I'll lose all interest in the game. But when the heart rules, the brain doesn't. 😅
 
i go for whoever catches my eye first then after when completing the other routes i'll go in the recommended order
 
I usually read in the recommended order or the order listed in the character profiles on the official website.
If there's a character in the common route that really catches my interest, I might change my plan on the spot.
 
if i like all the characters a decent amount ill probably go through a recommended order but if i do not care for some ill only go for the ones i like

I honestly dont mind spoilers much, so I just follow the recommended order if I have no interest in any specific Lis =))
