oh i see, it doesnt really shift the thread, but more like the constant sliding up and down automatically kinda bit annoying to readjust, especially when reading the box messagesDuring the design phase, I actually make it slide up (without layout shifting). Do you see it shifting?
No i get that too. The message element should realy be seperate from the replies or body element section.admin kun i do find the popup of "X is typing" section is can be a bit annoying because it constantly shifts the thread sections up and down whenever someone is typing, perhaps it can be changes to something better that didnt shift the thread section up and down when someone is typing? or its just an issue on my client side?

yeap yeap agree, can consider this for next maintenance patch, having it inside the section without sliding it up and down might works betterNo i get that too. The message element should realy be seperate from the replies or body element section.
Feels like trying to read a big number without commasoh i see, it doesnt really shift the thread but more like the constant sliding up and down automatically kinda bit annoying to readjust especially when reading the box messages
unavoidable, if you scroll too fast, you can use the page, it's faster.there are some performance issue when scrolling older messages
Can you elaborate? right now the page is acting like a infinite pagination. loading and each message being loaded is still a bit werid UI wise.there are some performance issue when scrolling older messages
how about disable infinite scrolling? it might fix itunavoidable, if you scroll too fast, you can use the page, it's faster.
I cannot afford better server, I'm already broke with this cluster
Yeah, that's another way to say "let's go back to normal discussion thread"how about disable infinite scrolling? it might fix it
But I'm pretty sure you can use the page selector to instantly go where you want to go, no? isn't that a better solution or not?how about disable infinite scrolling? it might fix it
oh well that fixed it, older pages no longer on scrolling area and performance is betterBut I'm pretty sure you can use the page selector to instantly go where you want to go, no? isn't that a better solution or not?
pagination has always been a bit resource intensive on older hardware for the user's browser. Maybe allow the option to limit the amount of pages to be loaded? People would have to use the search function in this thread when looking for specfic content anyway.Anyway, please put up with this, I want to let more people to try this layout.
Apologize for the inconvenience
hey, the infinity scroll actually has DOM recycling, as soon as you past 2 pages up or down, it unload the rest about 50 or was it 100 postpagination has always been a bit resource intensive on older hardware for the user's browser. The report is still there, you just need to click on the 3 dots. However, because of how I save resources, you won't see it until you hard refresh once. Also i have noticed the block and report functions have disappeared. This is important feature when dealing with a fourm that can spread malware fast.
I think it's the convenience that's missing, it should be "like, reply, report, and 3 dots" Or just replace the 3 dots with report because the only option right now is report. The report is still there, you just need to click on the 3 dots.
