I feel like you came across a bit too angry in the way you expressed this, but I understand your point. Losing an aspect of something you enjoy is always frustrating.
I'd argue that it's not just disappearing from hentai games, but from the broader modern zeitgeist in general...or, to put it less pretentiously, pubic hair just isn't "in" right now outside of niche circles.
It was very popular in the '70s and '80s, and that influence carried over into the early 2000s, but I think that era has largely passed for now. Maybe it will see a resurgence through social media influencers or shifting trends, but aside from that, I don't expect we'll be seeing much more of it, whether in hentai or in real life.

Especially when talking about pubic hair which really can just be an on and off toggle for those that like or don't like it.
