Anyone watched the CollarXMalice movies? what did you think about it?

I'm a huge cxm fan. Despite otome anime adaptations having a bad reputation I was excited to my boys animated. It's safe to say it didn't hit the mark for me.

The plot felt unnecessary and couldn't care less about the villain. Something about the art style felt a little jarring. Also I wanted more of Kei but I'm biased 😔. I really wished they could have done more with saeki or how adonis came to be.
 
And are there CxM movies?? I'm just finding that out now (⁠´⁠⊙⁠ω⁠⊙⁠`⁠)⁠！ Personally, I don't really like anime adaptations of otome games since the protagonist tends to be quite ambiguous and shallow, but I think in the case of CxM it might be different since Ichika has a strong personality and the plot in the game was at least as strong as the romance. I would watch the CxM animations!

There are 2 movies and it's an okay adaptation. The story isn't strong like the first game but I still recommend you watch! it wasn't terrible like some other adaptations. I mainly enjoyed mineo and takeru antics😅

I'll definitely watch it, thanks for letting me know! and as for Mineo and Takeru bickering, I'm sure that'll be the best part, their interaction in the game was hilarious, I hope it continues like that in the movies!
 
I was so sad about it I didn't enjoy it all. The animation was also a deal breaker for me because it really broke the experience for me. For my personal taste, it looked similar to r18 media so It was a meh for me :(

I really looked forward to it since cxm has been my favorite since highschool but i was sooo disappointed with it.
 
watch , somehow fill weird if compare both storyline. If no play game before. maybe quite ok
 
yeah, didn't like it as much as i liked the game... guess, i just prefer the "choose your adventure" aspect more than seeing the characters animated...
