My absolute favorite is Ichika from Collar x Malice.

She's so down-to-earth and courageous, as well as insightful—how could you not love and admire her? Even though she was thrown into an unfavorable situation that put not only herself but also her family and people that she cared a lot at risk, she remained firm in her convictions, which is why it was so much fun to follow her on each route with the guys. If I were in her shoes and woke up with a collar with a robotic voice telling me I would be poisoned if I tried to take it off and that it would be listening to my conversations, I would panic and never be able to focus on the cases, not to mention how embarrassed I would be, considering I talk a lot of nonsense with my cat when I'm alone, even if impulsively, haha.

Now, one I don't like very much, even though I like the game, is Nina from Real Rode.

Girl, how can you have a kind boyfriend who loves you a lot and is loyal enough to go after you, but you're going to fall in love and trade him for characters from your favorite video game? ಠ⁠,⁠_⁠｣⁠ಠ Not cool at all. Even though I liked the LIs, it left a bitter taste in my mouth to date each of them because Nina was basically cheating on her boyfriend, which I find the height of absurdity both in games and manga/anime and in real life.

Ritsuka from Dance with Devils is my all time favorite. Relatable and easy to self-insert to, and very strong-willed as a character! My least favorite so far is Hiyori from Charade Maniacs. Like girl why. Just why.

i also really like ichika, but i quite like lynette as well. least favourite is whatever that girl's name is from piofiore i dont even care

I love Ichika from Collar x Malice and Christina from Second Reproduction. I dislike Yui from Diabolic Lovers. For me she worse then Amnesia and Ozmafia heroine. They not best heroines but i didn't hate them.

Norn9 Mikoto I found her struggles relatable, Taisho Alice Yurika , Mistonia Aprose too I rarely actually dislike any heroines but my least fav so far is brothers conflict mc

Ichika from CxM is very dear to my heart. Her relationship with her parents and younger sibling felt very relatable to me in my own life, and she chooses to be strong in a way I would NEVER be able to be in her position. As an American I have a US-centric view of our police which is in a lot of ways negative, but her pure drive to protect those she loves and Shinjuku as a whole really speaks to how strong she is at her moral core and how she truly embodies someone who SHOULD be working for the public good and it's security. In some routes she can be a bit ditzier and less self-reliant than others, but overall she is someone who does the best she can in a situation where she herself has very little agency and a threat to her life on top of it all. I really love her!

Koharu from Norn9 is my forever favorite heroine, I have such a soft spot for cutesy heroines... T_T The misunderstandings between her and her LIs are so funny and cute! I don't think I have any specific heroines I dislike, but I generally don't like heroines that are just plain mean to everyone.

Nanami from Norn9 is absolutely my favorite! (I love all three of them but if I have to choose just one…) I also love Cardia! I tend to have a preference for a more quiet and serious type of MC, that is closed off but craves affection.

My unpopular opinion is that Yui is also one of my favorites, I can deeply relate to her! With me having a similar upbringing in a way and similar types of relationship dynamics in the past. She had the reactions that I also had for a lot of things, so she is a comfort character to me, I find her incredibly realistic and honestly? A perfect portrayal of the reaction to trauma and being sheltered her whole life that a lot of people have. She is also incredibly funny hahaha more than people give her credit for! That scene in the beginning of HDB where she tricks Ayato with the "Look! There's a hot woman behind you!" And then when he falls for it she says that was pretty pathetic (or something similar) is so funny 🤣

As for those I disliked I honestly can't really remember…? I had some I didn't like but none left a strong negative impression or anything of the sort, they weren't enjoyable to me but I don't think I have negative feelings towards any MC.

My favourite is Shiki from Scarlet Fate. I don't usually dislike MCs, but if I had to pick, it would probably be some of the bland MCs from older Voltage games.

i can't think of any i dislike fr. maybe the mc from 7'scarlet, but that's more bc i wasn't really into the game itself, so i was just neutral towards her...??

some faves: cardia beckford, teuta bridges, ceres, ringo shindou (my beloved!!!!), hiyoko tosaka, emma (genso manège) .......... i have mc disease and it's terminal

My favs are Shindou Ringo from Club Suicide and Yurika from Taisho X Alice. Both flawed, well-fleshed out characters. Usually the heroine tends to blend into the back for me so I appreciate when the writers of an Otome game decide to give their Heroine a strong presence. On the other hand, I could not STAND Hina from Blackish House. I don't think there was a single trait I liked about her, she was simply far too melodramatic and made almost everything humorous to read despite how serious the story material might've been. She also respects neither herself or whoever she may be pining after.

I absolutely adore Takeshi Sasazuka from *Collar x Malice*. Although he's sharp-tongued, his tsundere side—he'll definitely protect you in crucial moments—and his obsession with sweets contrast sharply with his aloof exterior. Especially when he mentions donuts, he's incredibly adorable. He's usually so cold and distant, but his eyes light up at the sight of sweets; this contrast is so endearing. Seeing his reluctant yet easily swayed expression is so satisfying.
I hate Reito Sakamaki from *Diabolik Lovers*. I know the theme of this work is a sadistic and morbid love between a sadist and a vampire, which is fine in itself. While he does it intentionally, what I hate is that he calls people "bitch" from the very beginning. It's really annoying and makes me angry.

I liked Hibari from Variable Barricade. She was a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of games I've played where the MC has either no personality or their only defining feature is that they're cheerful or nice type. As for who I didn't, I guess the MC from Amnesia. There was just not enough there for me, but I guess that's the point considering how the plot goes.

All time favorite is Ichika from Collar x Malice.
Recent favorite is Shunlin from Otome Daoshi. I love her. She's such a crackhead when it comes to men xD I love her vibe and energy 🙆‍♀️❤️
Dislike hmm.. i couldn't think of one :/
 
I absolutely love Yurika from Taisho x Alice. She's funny, witty and has a great personality. Her chemistry with the LIs is also great!

As for my least favorite, I can't think of anyone!
 
I can't stop at one loved MC, lol.
Sayori from Yo-Jin-Bo. Whole game is hilarious, including her!
Erdene from small game The Traded Groom. Can be found on itch.
Aaaand Christina Ranzaad - The Second Reproduction. (Remake in 2027, really?)

I didn't like Toujou Hibari from VARIABLE BARRICADE. Too much oujosama and all for me, but oh well.
But Kazuha from Period Cube ~Torikago no Amadeus~ is something eeeelse. Queen of "I'm useless but everything goes favourably for me". > =\
