It's my first time posting here so hiii, I guess...
I've already played Amnesia and I truly liked the game, especially Ukyo's route but I don't which game I should try next nor which one would be beginner friendly.

Hey, if you're into mobile games and haven't tried this one yet, then give Mystic Messenger a chance. I think it's a good game for beginners and has a love interest that has some similarities to Ukyo! On Nintendo, I recommend Him, Smile and the Bloom; it's a very relaxing and peaceful slice-of-life game, also perfect for beginners! If you have a preference for narrative types or a favorite archetype, feel free to mention that too!

I don't know if otome games have a level as most otome are usually visual novels. But I'm more bias to fantasy typing like Birushana: Rising Flower of Genpei or Hakuouki. I like the feudal Japan settings as oppose to the modern type. Mainly cause the costume are more pretty to look at, guys are more heroic and more drama!!! There's one modern one that I really like like 7'scarlet it has mystery, a little thriller and drama. Have to warn you make sure to bring tissue its one heck of a rollarcoaster ride in my opinion.

i highly recommend collar x malice and code: realize! i think those two are well-loved classics in the community. if you're looking for newer titles, piofiore and cupid parasite are great ones too!

I think the most gateway otome for console would be Code Realize its sweet, has lots of loveable characters and really good routes perfect for an introduction to the genre

I think Collar x Malice and Code:Realize are good gateways to start with otome games! I also recommend Bustafellows if you like more plot/action and a bit of romance, as well as a voiced MC!

Like everyone else has said, Collar x Malice is a really good one! I felt it had a nice weight of romance and plot. Depending on if you have a PS Vita/PSP, I really liked Sweet Fuse, but it's only on Vita/PSP, sadly. For PC, I thought Re:Birthday Song was good- though you need to download an English patch for it.

I would highly recommend Lover Pretend; it's an otome game that I personally consider quite light. Maybe Charade Maniacs, but it's a bit longer because it has quite a few suitors, but I enjoyed it when I played it.

I recommend Yo-Jin-Bo. It was my first one and it's very short and funny. I think you'll like it and if you can read Japanese there's an interesting extra route that I don't wanna spoil haha 😍

I recommend Code Realize, I think it's a game with enough content about love, family, and enemies that are well-built with full background for newbie.

I think YunoHana SpRING! is suitable for beginners.

There aren't many routes where characters die or bad endings.

Maybe you can check out the game Watashi no Real wa Juujitsu Shisugiteiru. I feel like the overall vibe is fairly relaxing, the story is quite simple, and it's a rather short playthrough.

I recommend the game Code Realize. It has a detailed background and a catchy soundtrack. I really like the MC because she and LIs are very well-developed. It's so popular that it even has 1 original and 2 FD if you're interested
