what otome games are currently in your backlog to play?

Taisho x Alice
Psychedelica of Black Butterfly
Re:Birthday Song

Currently those three because right now I'm trying to catch up to Love Brush Chronicles main story XD

I have so much backlog and nothing immediately yelling for my attention.

I told someone I know to pick a number 1-32, and the number that was picked corresponded to Tengoku Struggle. It got roasted in another thread here so I've been dragging my feet. Plus I just finished 9R.I.P. and I didn't want to play two ghost-centric stories in a row.

I'm also always torn between whether to play something new like Mistonia or Neon Clash to keep up with the latest titles, or to catch up on old stories I've missed like Nightshade or 7'scarlet. It's frustrating being so paralyzed with indecision.

I can't keep up with the speed at which new games are released! I've accumulated a ton of games. I started playing Amnesiac Crowd last spring, and a year later I'm finally about to finish it XD. It's not that it wasn't fun; on the contrary, I was completely absorbed. NOW I can't wait to play World!

I am new to otomes so my backlog is not very long: 9 rip and Cupid Parasite. I play mainly on Switch.

Right now I'm playing Jack Jeanne, and next up are either Bastafellows or Even If Tempest.

TLDR of some of mine, its massive

Ah yes the neverending backlog lmao countless times i've said to myself i'll get around to playing said games until it's been months and i still havent started lmao currently my backlog is mistonia, hana awase, illusion of itehari and arcana famiglia

I have so many partially completed games. I'm a completionist when it comes to most things, but sometimes I just can't slog through routes and put them on the back burner. There's Code:Realize (one route + Lupin), Olympia Soiree, Virche, Cafe Enchante, Piofiore... And many more.

I'm trying to catch up in order by release date and I have 39 in total, just counting the console ones. I was planning to get through 11 for this year, but I haven't touched a single one of what was planned and we're already a quarter in 😓 I keep getting distracted by the indie releases

This year was supposed to be:
Piofiore
Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi
Dairoku
Variable Barricade
even if Tempest
Birushana
Chou no Doku
Paradigm Paradox
Lover Pretend
BeniBana
Winter's Wish

Piofiore has been sitting in my backlog the longest. For some reason, I could never summon the motivation to just sit down and play it. I am curious about Yang since he's practically a celebrity around these parts, but I dunno, I get the feeling it's not gonna be a fun ride lol

I recently finished Piofiore, and I don't plan on starting the sequel anytime soon, but I can say that the game is very good. I can guarantee that Yang's route will be a one-way street; I still have very strong feelings about his route. I finished Lover Pretend last year (?), and it has a very gentle atmosphere overall. Koezaru wa Akai Hana (BeniBana) from this list is one of my absolute favorites; I love the game. I'm curious to start Paradigm Paradox and Winter's Wish from your list. Paradigm Paradox, in particular, was kind of next on my to-play list when I finished Charade Maniacs, but I still haven't gotten around to playing it.

That helps to know! I hope to start Piofiore this weekend and writing out my backlog actually helped motivate me to just get to it. It's always harder to start something because I have to be in the "mood" for it. I do think Lover Pretend might be more my thing since I find slice of life much easier to digest after a long day. And I actually haven't seen many people say they like BeniBana, it seems pretty underrated

me telling you at gunpoint to move buraha up into the immediate next play tier (I am definitely not biased)

Jokes aside, im in the same boat as many others where it's easier to ask what isn't in the backlog at this point. I don't keep track of what I've spent and will continue to spend because I might actually lose lifespan, out of sight out of mind….

i got my bestie into otome and turned her into a monster too, so we also share our games lol. we have started a mini book club for it to hold each other accountable for clearing shit

Currently downloaded Kokuchou no Psychedelica, and Tsuki no Onna( This is a 3h short vn, so I'll probably read it tomorrow!) Also, if I'm not too lazy to install an emulator, then 9 RIP and moshikami, I haven't downloaded, but I'm planning to play in Under the Moon and Princess Nightmare

Even if Tempest, Piofiore 1926, Olysoi Catharis, 9Rip Sequel, UN:Logical and Over Requiemz...i'm trying to play the localized games first before the unlocalized ones.

I have a lot on my backlogs. But one of the games that has been on my backlogs since covid is Nightshade HAHAHAH I played one route got 'traumatized' and dipped AHHAHAH

Taisho x Alice,, I'll get back to it when I finally get motivation to continue with it lol.

I played all three in your backlog, If you want to read one that is not too long(20h-30h) & fast-paced I would suggest playing Neon Clash , I enjoyed it more than I expected , Mistonia & Zettai Kaikyu are on the longer side plus I felt the plot dragging sometimes.

As for my backlog I have princess nightmare but was interested in Volontés so I started it & so far its enjoyable .

To be honest, my backlog is getting out of control lol. I'm currently playing Piofiore: Fated Memories, but life got so busy that I had to put it on hold... I've heard the Fan Disc is amazing, so I'm really looking forward to it!

I really wanna try out Error 143! I keep hearing good things about it but I still don't know if it's for me
