TLDR of some of mine, its massive
I keep getting distracted by the indie releasesI recently finished Piofiore, and I don't plan on starting the sequel anytime soon, but I can say that the game is very good. I can guarantee that Yang's route will be a one-way street; I still have very strong feelings about his route. I finished Lover Pretend last year (?), and it has a very gentle atmosphere overall. Koezaru wa Akai Hana (BeniBana) from this list is one of my absolute favorites; I love the game. I'm curious to start Paradigm Paradox and Winter's Wish from your list. Paradigm Paradox, in particular, was kind of next on my to-play list when I finished Charade Maniacs, but I still haven't gotten around to playing it.I'm trying to catch up in order by release date and I have 39 in total, just counting the console ones. I was planning to get through 11 for this year, but I haven't touched a single one of what was planned and we're already a quarter inI keep getting distracted by the indie releases
This year was supposed to be:
Piofiore
Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi
Dairoku
Variable Barricade
even if Tempest
Birushana
Chou no Doku
Paradigm Paradox
Lover Pretend
BeniBana
Winter's Wish
Piofiore has been sitting in my backlog the longest. For some reason, I could never summon the motivation to just sit down and play it. I am curious about Yang since he's practically a celebrity around these parts, but I dunno, I get the feeling it's not gonna be a fun ride lol
That helps to know! I hope to start Piofiore this weekend and writing out my backlog actually helped motivate me to just get to it. It's always harder to start something because I have to be in the "mood" for it. I do think Lover Pretend might be more my thing since I find slice of life much easier to digest after a long day. And I actually haven't seen many people say they like BeniBana, it seems pretty underratedI recently finished Piofiore, and I don't plan on starting the sequel anytime soon, but I can say that the game is very good.
