There are 2 .exe files: karigurashi.exe and kari.exe
karigurashi.exe is flagged as a virus and it's probably a fake.
kari.exe is probably the legit one, though I didn't check if it actually launches the game
Can you explain what karigurashi.exe is for?

I will check when i'm at home (or probably someone else will check this before i do).
Probably it's the opposite, where kari has the protection and a valid signature, and karigurashi has been modified to disable the protection so the signature became invalid;
If the antivirus find a signature in a file and fail to verify the file, automatically mark the file as a virus by default without even testing it.
When a executable has no signature use different approaches , like pattern search, heuristic , cloud protection, etc.
