Have you ever used the Scene Recollection feature in otome games?

Sometimes this feature is called "Memory", "Recollection mode", etc. (If you haven't heard of it, it's a feature that lets you re-read previously unlocked story scenes, without replaying the whole route.)
Personally, not every otome game I've played has it, and I haven't used it in the ones that do.

Yes and I love this feature! Sometimes you just want to reread a sweet moment without replaying the whole game.

If a game doesn't have it, I will make my own by setting a side a few saving slots for it. (I'm looking at you A Date with Death).

Not really, not that I remember.

Mostly because I have a...save scumming habit, so I have my own save slots for scenes I need anyway. And I rarely reread anything I've finished, which means it's not necessary to begin with.

Nah, never.
I don't see the point in this, for me it's more convenient to either make a manual save or replay the whole route/chapter (but all this happens very rarely).
I think it's suitable for people who like to reread, but def not me

Unfortunately not yet since I'm too used to save/load and screenshots. :s
Also it confuses me when game A has it but not game B even from same publisher.
Might give it a try when it becomes a standard feature.

Sometimes, because I keep pressing the A button and miss important dialogue, I use it. It also lets me revisit specific lines from characters, like confession moments!

I use it a lot! I'm not someone who makes a bunch of saves (in otome specifically) so it's nice to replay scenes without starting the whole route over. I also use it when I want to take screenshots to share with friends, since I may forget to do it when I'm too immersed in the game

I always swear to god I will but I never do... I get excited at having the option though!!! (I kinda rawdog all my vn experiences these days)

i almost don't use it, but it's nice to have an opportunity to reread some moments without replaying the whole route.

I really wish every game had this feature, so that if I wanted to relive a specific scene, I wouldn't have to replay the game.

heh i used this feature, but not to reread sweet moments. it was 18+ visual novel and had too dark and heavy (for me at least) storyline but i loved 18+ scenes so replayed them. it was either No, thank you or Room no.9

I do it sometimes! I like replaying the romantic scenes that made my heart flutter the most! 😳

Now that I think about it, I've never really used it since I usually just rely on my saves. But after reading some comments like "I use it to revisit some romantic scenes," I realized that's actually a good idea. Until now, that feature felt kind of useless to me (since I play with a walkthrough)

I basically haven't used this kind of feature. Most of the recalled storylines don't have the appeal that makes me want to watch them again. For relatively short storylines, I might review them again after completing all the routes, but if the game's progression is particularly long, I definitely won't choose to review them.

When I haven't played this game in a long time but want to relive some of the story, I use the scene recall function. I don't really like saving, and starting over from the beginning of the character routes is a bit of a hassle, so I really like this function.

I rarely do... tbf if I recall correctly I only used the feature once in Sweet Fuse, and that's only bc I was gunning for the bad ends.
