I noticed that i often return to completed otome and BL games to replay some routes of my favorite characters, at least once in year or two. What about you?
How often do you replay otome/BL games? If you do, do you only replay certain routes/parts or whole game?

I usually sell my games secondhand after I finish them, so I don't really replay them lol. If I really feel the urge to revisit one, I'll just buy it again later.
I also prefer replaying specific routes rather than doing a full completion run. Going through everything again feels kind of boring to me since I already know what happens.

I don't usually replay the same game unless it has a sequel and I played the first title for a long time. In that case, I play it again to recap everything and familiarize myself with the LIs. That's what I'm doing with Hakuoki, since I want to play SSL and it's been a long time since I last played Hakuoki. I think besides that, the only game I'm thinking of replaying is Amnesia Memories so I can finally try to complete Ikki and Ukyo's routes.

If I really like a game I will replay it immediately so I can catch all the foreshadowing and see things from a new perspective.

I rarely replay games, especially since I have a huge backlog. The only time I do is if there's a sequel/fandisc released and it has been a long time since I've played the first game and want a refresher. Although I rarely replay games, I sometimes like to replay my fave scenes.

just my favorite routes, or revisit my favorite scenes. if there's a route i dislike i probably won't bother playing it again... but i think i can only do that if it's a work i feel strongly about, if it's just okay i probably won't find the motivation for a replay;;;;;

To me while not a case that happens often, there are some games where there's at least 1 route that I know I would likely come back to replaying later on out either out of nostalgia or just really wanting to go through that one specific story again.
Sometimes, though in a reaallly rare case, I end up feeling the sentiment for the whole game (if often it comes with a ''maybe if a time comes where I forget things to the point I can semi-reexperience the twists from a blank slate all over again'' drawback)

Replaying just feels so tiring, and it never hits the same as that first playthrough. When I want to reminisce, I just listen to the game's BGM, look at screenshots, and read old posts about it.

I usually only replay my favourite routes, it takes too much time to replay the whole game but if I have forgotten the plot I replay the game from the start.

don't do it very often but once a six month i do fell into urge to replay some of my fav bl. i rarely replay whole thing for many reasons but i always read routes of the characters i like. couple months ago i tried to reread Shingakkou but stopped at August route because i just can't make myself to do it
