Btw does anybody know if there are any future plans to bring the English translation to the Steam version (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2179520) or is it going to stay as a DLsite exclusive? I prefer to have all my games in one place so I was just curious

You can find @aeskey they've cracked many games before for Anime-sharing
 
I bought it but I think I can't crack it since I can't even get it to work (drm makes it impossible to use a VM and since the game is for windows only i'm cooked lol)

Hoping for someone to post the japanese/chinese/korean version of the tokuten (and the games too)^^

Reminder that japanese version of the game is here (scroll down and you'll also see the BGM from BOOTH by amagiri but there's no manga or ID cards) and only japanese version has mac version.

The general translation is good/understandable and close enough to the original. I do think some things could have worded a little better for a nicer natural flow. But no MTL at all.
The problems are mostly other things. I only replayed Eba's route so far (I played the prior jp versions so I remember some things from the og in comparison) so I can't say much about the other routes yet but:

- Punctuation and spacing errors, especially noticeable if you go into the backlog, which has even more issues most of the time.
- Ringo's name getting exchanged with Shiki's in a few instances.
- Empty textlines like "---" or "..." get exchanged with random lines. I had like 6 instances in emotional scenes where Ringo interjects randomly with "You said you wanna!" when in the original script she says nothing.
- Last choice translation is wrong, completely different line for one of the choices
- They removed the character colorcoding of text in important scenes, which they mentioned on the sales page too. But I feel like something is missing without it. You will still notice when an more important scene comes up when you hear the bell sound though.
- So definitely could have used some more proofreading before releasing.

Not sure how the other routes look like yet, but probably similar. I recommend waiting for a patch to atleast let them fix the most glaring issues, to get the best experience out of the game.

I was looking through reviews of the game and apparently some of the text errors are bugs and misplaced text from other parts in the game ._. I bought it to support DLsite (even tho I already own the JP original!!) because iirc this is their first Otome game they've translated. But if it's like this I'm not sure I'd be willing to buy their next translated Otome game... I hope they release a patch soon because this is really bad. Note: apparently the "you said you wanna" is a bug?!?
 
I haven't played the eng version yet and I don't think that i will soon bc im busy, but if you do and notice bugs, mistakes, mistranslations etc. please https://www.reddit.com/r/otomegames/s/WhnYL4OjIt tell garumani here! They asked people feedback on otome reddit.
It's very important to let them know.

Yeah unless they aren't willing to do it, some dedicated fans end up making unofficial ones with either fixing up stuff or retranslating entire game. But can't always rely on peoples love for something to fix stuff, it's important for people to voice their dissatisfaction with something.

And this is for a character that already stated earlier in this route how much he dislikes when people use words like "sissy" and "butch" to classify people.

That's so sad TT sometimes I feel like the translators haven't read the very thing they're translating 😭

And that's totally understandable, it's infuriating having to fix something that people got paid for, for free. Editors and beta testers are paid for this exact job.

really hope people in the reddit let them know. i didnt see any comments about the translations missing a lot of the points/essence of the original. it was mostly about the bugs
