is gofile preferred over mega? it's still early enough that i can switch to that if need be
Mega won on easy bulk download and capability to resume download if it wasnt finished, but their biggest weakness is their ass 3gb/ 5gb download quota which is not really f2p friendly

gofile has better quota but u need to download one by one if you're f2p, which just minor inconveniences . but reallyyy easy to get deleted for slightest report and not good file survivability if it has less activity

however, imo Mega is better than gofile for uploader side for its convenience.

I hate mega because it likes to stop and freeze at random. Gofile works ok for me, but I usually only make throw away links. Anyone use Mixdrop? Seems to be about the same as gofile from a downloaders pov.

for the uploader :

gofile can expire pretty quick, it will be moved to cold storage after a while.

Mega is good for organizing but very risky, it's very easy to nuke and potentially get your account banned. Unless you want to keep updating the links by moving the folder to another folder and update the link every week.

For the people who just download :

gofile sometimes limit the user who can download, if they detect that file has been downloaded too many times in short period of time. No quota limit

Mega is quota limited by each user's IP, iirc 5GB every 5 hours. You can bypass it if you know what to do. But as the uploader you can share your download quota with anyone who downloaded from your folder, but i would say to not share your download quota.

i guess what i'm trying to figure out is whether it's worth uploading entire collections again when the possibility of getting banned could still happen. i still need to organize my files, but uploading all of them is another matter. so trying to decide between mega or gofile really comes down to my own convenience, unless i just don't want to bother with getting everything moved over.
thinking about it, all that really matters is getting new content posted. it shouldn't matter what happens after that. i think i'm just too used to having everything consolidated nice and neatly. so for the time being, i will stick with mega.

sorry for the delay in posting anything. trying to figure out what to after my ban took a little longer than i'd like, but hopefully this works out basically the same. my previous pixeldrain links still work except for sanjiku, but my goal is to eventually move everything over to mega. that's going to take a long time but should be manageable once i get my files organized again. can't say for sure mega won't also get banned and i end up having to do this all over again, but for the time being this should be fine. let me know if you have any issues downloading something from my posts.
you are the GOAT thank you for all your efforts.

thanks for sharing, could I ask if there is anything that you are still missing from your collection?
I received note of a 10GB collection elsewhere but I'd rather not download it if your collection was already complete and up-to-date.
It is complete for now. You have to find it in this thread though. page 226 #5,639

Shows file not found for me, and pixel drain seems to not have all the parts either.
That was on purpose. You will have to wait link is dead. Seems like the scrapper bot is now backtracking to specific older posts.

Hmmm, I'm curious, can you try aHR0cHM6Ly9raW8uYWMv ?
I've always downloaded his works from that one and they were never deleted no matter how much time passed.

Can anyone link me the collection of after 2023 of nanasi108? Like I found a collection earlier but it's on a chinese site that won't allow US logins and probably was spyware as well (because it was very difficult to uninstall the thing needed to download the files even if I couldn't download the files)

My opinion is that the quota is not the biggest problem of MEGA, since you can bypass this by using vpn, the biggest problem is that if you get report, MEGA will ban your account, all the files will go, and it even inspects your browser & IP to prevent you to use other MEGA accounts, and the second issue is that it has the probability that the file corrupted in the middle using browser to download insensibly.
gofile has one con, file expires too quickly, but paid user can store the file longer as same as pixeldrain.
idk which one is better, but in my experience, MEGA has strict terms, so be careful, don't share the files violate TOS, example 6.4.
