100% this.

If you look at the authors from 4 to 6 years ago (or more even) that made sexdance stuff at the time, you'll notice that most of them are waaay better than the guys making stuff today. Consider the tech difference, back when MMD was *way* more limited & blender was still a massive, unwieldy clusterfkk that was incredibly user hostile in a bunch of ways. Maya as always was very expensive but also highly impractical for individual use. Etc.

Also remember that PC hardware has advanced significantly while getting a lot cheaper... despite all of this, guys like Krag, Kuro@vov, Modesto & others, still made better stuff years ago than the vast majority of sex dance videos made today. That's because they actually put effort into their stuff and made videos with flow rather than re-arranging the chairs in the same room over & over.

I've been seeing so much lazy, uninspired crap come out recently that I'm starting to think maybe even I could do better. We'll see.

I totally understand that, please do not feel forced or pushed to contribute, especially when it comes to managing when upload links expire or update posts.
In regard to your appeal, I believe we share the same opinion. Once you are more familiar with the MMD space, you can notice koikatsu models or faceswap animations immediately which diminishes your engagement. Same with sexdance releases (which others find awesome).

So essence, rather than CBX, sugardust, new_folder/kamihikoki, chekibrek, ImSayaa34, sutekimeppou, Stella858, Peh-koi, sodeno19, Erio, MastaPov
you rather like creators such as lovemax, cameel, Aung15, pastakudasai, shinshi52, winkMMD, PigTaroTaro, KingHagetalos/Kinhage, maloxx, furui, toutetu_03. Just check those for now to see if someone clicks with you.

PS: the "appeal" of sex dance to me can be nicely represented by xiaodidi09's "Can't Stop at All" video, but sadly videos like these are dying breed that's about to go extinct

As for actual hidden gem small creators, these 3 that I follow would be it, everyone else I follow is well known. oriwave and juicyelf don't have a Patreon/Fantia/Fanbox as far as I'm aware. sossuppoi has a Patreon but doesn't have anything on it I think. So all their videos are just on Iwara.

exactly, past few years especially ever since KK, we been getting slops of mass KK content without much storyline, no more an actual sexdance and less face expression...

That's why I said it's much faster to just blacklist KK, HS2, and VAM directly on IWARA.


The truth is, with technological advancements, the software has become more powerful and easier to use — which led to many people exploiting it to gain traffic and make money. And with certain "asset hoarders" around, they can get models, animations, and scenes without spending a dime.


Then, with just one animation/scene, they shoot a close-up, a wide shot, change the angle, and before you know it, a few minutes have passed — and they call it a finished work. The movements, camera shots, and scenes are exactly the same; only the characters or outfits change slightly.


That's why I keep saying there are fewer and fewer truly good creators out there. I personally choose to support them, whether or not their works get leaked, because once the good creators are gone, all that will be left is an endless flood of lazy, copy-paste, lifeless works — the same repetitive 1X-second thrusting loops with no content, no creativity, and nothing but monotony.
