As far as I know, Paypal had said goodbye to Fanbox and other JP platforms that sell R18 stuffs. Similar to VISA and Mastercard, they couldn't talk term with Fanbox about their contents, so Paypal as payment method become unavailable for almost all country that can access Fanbox. Paypal doesn't want their brand to be associated with sites that sell R18 contents, especially "underage R18", so they left Fanbox. Even VISA and Mastercard, now seems like still working, only allow the use of credit card to subscribe, debit card is rendered useless after that ToS revision in August 2024 took effect.

I have my acc pretty old now, and Paypal no longer an option for payment, even tried using my debit card many times, but in the end it just return the error "Payment failed. Please try another payment method."
